Lunatic Fringe

Lunatic Fringe

The left has chosen groups it wants to exploit to create division in this country, they want votes and by backing the lunatic fringe they secure their support when election time comes around. The identity politics game they are playing is having a major side effect, people in this country are no longer “Americans”, they are splinter groups demanding new rights and laws.

Pick a group, any group that liberals support, and you will find a hatred for what America used to be and their vision of what America should be. It’s not their wish, it’s a demand, and liberal politicians are enabling those demands for their own selfish reason…… political power. It’s creating a divide that can’t be repaired.

That’s not the vibe of today. It feels like America is a fleet of ships lashed together for so long that no one remembers why they are lashed together. As the ropes begin to break, no one is trying to repair them. Instead. people are severing them so everyone can drift apart and go their own way. In the process, various madmen are setting fire to other boats and cackling like lunatics. Those who want to keep things together, just because that’s the way it has always been, are starting to think it is time to cut everyone loose.   here….

This won’t end well.

The Lines Have Been Blurred

The Lines Have Been Blurred

Sexual harassment and assault accusations are becoming a routine occurrence now, after the Weinstien story broke a few weeks back it seems every day some dumb schmuck has stuck his finger in it, (pun intended), and is being held to task in the court of public opinion. Nowadays that court finds you guilty under the premise if there’s smoke there must be fire.

Don’t get me wrong, I have no sympathy for the Kevin Spacey’s and Charlie Sheen’s of the world, they made their own beds and watching their world come tumbling down around them is the karma come uppins they deserve.

The bigger story here is the women, (or men), who are coming out of the woodwork against CEO’s, editors, politicians with decades old accusations that are difficult to defend against. It could be that some of them are looking for a pay day from whatever settlements their lawyers can secure, others may be getting paid to bring someone in power down, some may be real victims of a crime but the lines have been blurred. If your face is plastered all over the paper being accused of a crime back in 1962, you’re guilty until proven innocent, seems backwards amiright?

Now to my point. Women have flat out gone militant about equality in the workforce, they demand equal pay with equal opportunity, I don’t begrudge them that effort…..but……if I was in a position of hiring for corporate America, and in the current landscape of sexual harassment claims, I would tend to hire a man over a woman. That would lessen the probability of a potential problem down the road. It has nothing to do with qualifications, it’s more to do with math. If I have a bunch of dudes on staff, I don’t have to worry about them staring at a chicks cleavage or an off hand remark about how good she looks in a skirt.

I’m not saying women shouldn’t be hired, I’m just stating that all of these claims could have the reverse effect of women’s opportunities for employment, which is the opposite outcome for equality they desire, get the way I’m drifting here?

These are just random thoughts running through my college drop out head so what do I know. If these men are guilty of the alleged assaults then I hope they get what’s coming to them, if men are being sued for complimenting a woman on the color of her blouse, that’s another story.

If I’ve offended the sensibilities of the fairer sex with this post my apologies,  I’m just an old school guy who was raised in a different era I guess.

Burning Down The House

Burning Down The House

My cup runneth over watching the dems light a candle that ends up burning down the house. Schlichter opines on the Virginia governors race and the democratic ad that may cost them the election.

“But have Democrats learned that?

No. They don’t want to learn that. So they won’t.

But they should. Here’s a strategy idea. Just spit-balling, but maybe it’s better not to alienate the majority of voters in order to cater to…who? Who buys these magic beans? Gyno-hat wearing nitwits from Fairfax County who think that everyone outside the Beltway is a couple swigs of home-brewed corn liquor away from molesting unwary canoeists?

While President Trump remains popular among those he was always popular with, these folks might not have been super-primed to go out and pull the lever for Ed Gillespie in light of his ties to the establishment. But wow – way to energize them to go out and pull that lever to tell Northam and the rest of Team They/Them/Theirs to go Weinstein themselves.”   here….

Your Argument Is Invalid

Your Argument Is Invalid

Texas church shooter assaulted his wife, fractured the skull of infant child.

He got a Bad Conduct Discharge* from military for the assault, spent year incarcerated.

Was supposed to be on NO GUN list.

Government pencil pushers screw up, never makes it to list.

26 dead, 20 injured.

All the safeguards were in place….didn’t work due to government incompetence.

The only thing that stopped the killing….a good man with a gun.

End of story.

*From a comment – He got a BCD (Bad Conduct Discharge). A BCD does not carry a disability. However, the conviction for domestic violence does carry a disability, and that was what was not transmitted to the registry.

I Didn’t Vote For A Choir Boy

I Didn’t Vote For A Choir Boy

I’ve watched Trump on the golf channel years ago, I watched the 30 for 30 about the USFL and Trumps hand in the demise of the fledgling league, I watched the campaign and debates during his candidacy for  the GOP nominee and general election for the presidency.

I’ve never watched a second of The Apprentice.

Trump can be an SOB, his tweets can be confusing, he is cringe inducing as an orator and some decisions are winners while others are losers. That description describes the majority of private business owners I know. I have worked for and golfed with a number of business owners, most of them didn’t graduate from college, some not even high school. These were tough men who became successful by hard work and luck, not by their diploma and social skills.

The reason for this post is the book and quotes by former presidents Bush. 41 and 43 have come out bashing Trump calling him a “blowhard” and specifically stating they don’t like him. In the book, titled “The Last Republicans”, it even states they didn’t vote for Trump. This all seems like sour grapes by a father and brother who witnessed Trump wipe the floor with a sniveling soft Jeb Bush in the GOP primary. These are the same Bushes who call Bill Clinton a brother from another mother.
Let that sink in….George H. and George W. look favorably upon Bill and Hillary Clinton while publicly announcing their disdain for Donald Trump.

That stunning admission tells you all you need to know about the Bushes, not a word for the last 8 years of Obama yet a scathing indictment of Trump in just under a year. As a matter of fact a few years back when W was asked specifically about Obama’s performance as POTUS he said it wasn’t proper for a former President to speak on a current President. What a change of heart.

Trumps no choir boy but he’s getting shit done, he’s not afraid to fight back and seems to care about the little guy, I like that in a President.

I regret ever supporting 41 and 43 and their alliance of RINO’s in the GOP, they have shown their true colors in a time when Trump could use a friend or two. They don’t need the book money, this is pure revenge. I’m done giving a fuck about them.

Crazies

Crazies

Some guy just shot up a church in Texas, another mass shooting that will have the progs out in full gun control mode.

The loss of innocent life is tragic, whatever motivated the killer is unknown, but normal people don’t commit mass murder.

You can’t stop crazy…and it’s worse if crazy has a weapon.
