Underdogs

Just a few thoughts on this second round series featuring the Warriors and Jazz.

First off, I’m from Utah. I’ve followed the Jazz ever since they moved from New Orleans. I’ve seen the bad times to the good times and back to the bad times, I’m not a fanatic just a fan and I don’t give the Jazz much of a chance in this series. That being said I have a few complaints.

Last night ESPNSJW had a quick preview of the series. They joked about Salt Lake City having “zero” night life, they lamented the only way to have fun is to go to Vegas in between games, they even had a graphic showing a twelve hour trip to Vegas from Salt Lake and the cost to lease a car to get there. Well, it takes five hours to get to Vegas from Salt Lake, I have taken that trip more times than I can count, it never varies unless there’s weather.32770F9F00000578-3504209-Jovial_President_Obama_was_clearly_enjoying_the_historic_basebal-a-27_1458678352880

The arrogant asses at ESPN just threw out a number because in their minds who cares, it’s Utah, whose gonna fact check. Sound familiar?

Next, the Golden State players have jumped on the Salt Lake City bash fest. Steph Curry say’s in his snide way he will go snowboarding, forward Matt Barnes said “there’s no nightlife in Utah.” Forward Andre Iguodala said being in Utah “can kind of lull you to sleep” and the SLC vibe is “just like, ‘Man let’s just get out of here.'”stephen-curry-barack-obama-558x330

I don’t get the insults about the city, plenty of places to party in Salt Lake but that’s not the point. This is the Golden Boys from California against the upstart team from Utah. West coast against fly over country, hip millionaires that do commercials and endorsements versus buttoned down wannabes from Mormon country. High life versus family life. New York versus Indiana. It’s kind of a microcosm of the current divide in the country.

Personally I could care less about what the opposing players think. When Utah sent the Clippers packing in game seven Sunday night I was amused noting that Jay Z and Beyonce were on the front row. They had to do the walk of shame out of the arena because the other Golden Boys from LA La Land were just dismissed from the playoffs. If I get nothing more out of this years Utah team that image was enough for me.nyc_obama_jay_z_beyonce

Golden State has built a wonderful team and they’re fun to watch, I can say that with indifference to the Oakland-San Francisco area, I have no reason to go there, never have. I would imagine that Golden State players would trade their state tax liabilities, property taxes, and cost of living for Utahs, but I digress.

I will enjoy the series whether it’s a sweep or Utah wins a few games. I give Utah little to no chance of actually winning the series, and that’s OK. I still have a wonderful place to live regardless of the weird liquor laws and California will still be California, my life won’t change because of a few basketball games.

ps: I’ll be watching a couple of the games from a casino in Nevada, because it’s just a few hours away from Utah with golf three days in a row in St. George and Mesquite. Suck it California.060331_travel_golf_hmed3p.grid-6x2

Weird Science

Weird Science

Kind of amazing a guy with such a meager education can promote himself as the last word on climate change. Just goes to show you the left will use anyone with some popularity regardless of their background. That’s why people like Amy Schumer, Katie Perry, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Madonna are used as useful idiots for the Cult.

Shallow people that watch Ellen and The View believe these celebrities are somehow qualified when in reality their only skill is acting like someone they’re not….like a real scientist.Nye - Lundgren comparisonh/t Ace for the image

Piñatas Revenge

Piñatas Revenge

A top Mexican official on Tuesday said that Mexico may consider charging a fee for Americans entering the country in what could be seen as a retaliation to President Trump’s call for a border wall. Foreign Secretary Luis Videgaray, in a meeting with Mexico’s top legislators, called Trump’s plan an “unfriendly, hostile” act, and called on his colleagues to consider the entry fee.

“We could explore — not necessarily a visa, that could impede a lot of people from coming to Mexico — but we could perhaps (have) a fee associated with entry,” Videgaray said. “This is something that I’m sure will be part of our discussion, and I believe we can find points of agreement.”

Videgaray went on to say that Mexico would not pay a cent toward the wall. He said if talks between the U.S. and Mexico fail to satisfy both countries, the Mexican government would consider reducing security cooperation.

“If the negotiation on other themes — immigration, the border, trade — isn’t satisfactory to Mexico’s interests, we will have to review our existing cooperation,” Videgaray said.     here…

“Review our existing cooperation”? You don’t cooperate, you export your people to America so they can repatriate billions thus propping up your corrupt third world economy. And as far as charging a “fee” to get into your wretched country, knock yourselves out, should do wonders for the tourist industry that continues to shrink because you can’t hide all the bodies piling up in Cabo and Mazatlan. Yeah, charge that fee Luis.

Sick And Tired Of Being Sick And Tired Of Political Theater

Sick And Tired Of Being Sick And Tired Of Political Theater

Just damn near had it with Washington DC regardless of whose POTUS or who has the majority.

Obamacare, the Wall, Immigration, Sanctuary Cities, War Drums, blah, blah, blah, the list goes on. It’s a shit party.

The latest crap sandwich is this budget proposal. The Swamp Monsters are proving what we already knew, nothing can be done in DC that negatively effects a politicians re-election. All policy is dictated by whether one side or the other will be blamed for something and that “thing” will threaten their seat. Politicians of both parties know this and legislate accordingly. What a terrible way to run a country.

I was hoping Trump would have the balls to blow things up, force Republicans to to make decisions based on the needs of America and pass budgets and laws that would help Americans even if it had the potential to damage them politically.

Pass bold legislation and let time dictate whether it was a success or not. The Democrats had no problem backing Obamacare at the time it was passed and they lost the house, senate, and the White House, but they did it regardless of the political fallout, which was extensive. The difference being Obamacare wasn’t in the best interest of the country. If Republicans would pass popular laws and those laws became successful then re-election wouldn’t be a problem would it.

There’s the rub, Republicans don’t have the stones it takes to do the right thing, status quo works for them because they don’t have to be brave. It takes courage to put your political life at risk to pass something you believe in but if it’s good legislation there should be nothing to fear. Republicans are so afraid of Democrats and the liberal media blaming them for this or that they are paralyzed to act. Spineless governing.

I’m fucking sick of it, tired of negotiations, tired of investigations, tired of all the political theater. If Republicans fail to do what they said they were going to do during their campaigns when they hold all of the chips in Washington, then my give a shit will be bankrupt.

Somebody once said “Just because you do not take an interest in politics doesn’t mean politics won’t take an interest in you.” That’s all well and fine but if Republicans can’t get their shit together then I’m wasting my time writing and worrying about it.

This site may go full porn, at least you guys would get something useful out of it.Wall Grins 1

Crazy Like A FOX

Crazy Like A FOX

The Z Mans take on FOX and Billy Boy:

As a further aside, the companies pulling their ads from O’Reilly were not doing it for economic reasons. The ratings were through the roof and few Americans care about who is playing grab ass with whom at the TV station. These companies were pulling their ads in order to curry favor with the Cult. In many cases, their management teams are infested with Progs and powerskirts too. It’s like a virus for which there is no known cure. It controls the host and will bring about its demise in order to promote the cause.

That’s the fate of Fox News. Rupert Murdoch was never a man of the Right. He was just a guy who loved tabloid news and was a genius at making money on modern media properties. His kids are Kool-Aid drinking Prog loonies, who will piss away the family fortune trying to buy status within the Cult of Modern Liberalism. As a result, Fox News will slowly be converted into a megaphone for the one true faith. We’ll sooner see a trans gender-fluid lesbian of color in prime time than another Bill O’Reilly type.

For my part I liked Bill for his talking points and his segments with Jesse Watters and Dennis Miller, other than that his show was pretty much the same as the others dependent on which side of center you’re on.

He did have one moment that should go down in history, his battle with infamous DC butt pirate Barney Frank on the housing bubble.

The Bigger They Are…..

The Bigger They Are…..

Bill O’Reilly has been excused from FOX News. He was accused of sexual harassment, he has apparently settled four previous cases, the last accusation seems pretty weak but whatever, he is gone. Apparently the Murdoch boys didn’t think backing their man was worthwhile…to bad.

So Ole Bill hit on some women and everyone is up in arms, the left is ecstatic. The hearts of liberals are filled with joy because the right’s poster boy had fallen.

Bill Clinton
Ted Kennedy
JFK
Bob Mendez
Anthony Weiner
Eliot Spitzer
David Wu
Jon Edwards

And I could go on and on.

Any questions?

What’s Good For The Goose….

What’s Good For The Goose….

The left is screaming for Trumps tax returns, it seems to be the new talking point from Liberal HQ CNN. Obama-girl-Trump-tax-returns-Getty-640x480waters-trump-impeach-tax

Fine, as soon as Obama releases his college transcripts, Trump should go ahead and release his returns, fairs fair amiright?

I’ve been quoted in the media as saying that no one I’ve ever met at Columbia can remember ever meeting, or even seeing, our college classmate Barack Obama.    here…

Stacking The Deck

Stacking The Deck

“There’s no question but that Obama would have been a one-term president but for Teddy Kennedy’s 1965 immigration act. Mitt Romney got a larger percentage of the white vote than Ronald Reagan did in 1980. But the country has changed so dramatically and so intentionally and artificially by government policy, that Democrats have an enormous leg up now. And if things aren’t done, you can say ‘adios’ to whatever your pet issue is, whether it is abortion or the budget or taxes or guns. Get ready to lose, because Democrats decided, ‘Sorry, America, we tried this the easy way. We tried to get you to vote for us, but you wouldn’t, so we brought in ringers. And they’re gonna be voting, tens and tens of millions of them’.”
