Amnesty Is A Whisper Away
I am at my wits end. Everything that bugs the shit out of me is hitting me on all sides, political correctness, liberal outrage, race baiters, and now we are told illegal immigrants are close to becoming Americans. I’m exhausted.
“I want to let you in on a little secret. We are going to pass that bill and sign it into law this year,” said the New York Democrat, one of the authors of a Senate immigration bill that would provide a path to citizenship for millions of undocumented immigrants, overhaul the current system and boost border enforcement.
A reform measure is now stalled in the House.
“We will have an immigration bill — it may not be exactly the Senate bill — on the floor of the House … We will come to an agreement. They will put that bill on the President’s desk for President Obama to sign into law,” Schumer said.
And this is how I feel:
“These people are playing with matches… I don’t think they understand the scope and scale of the wildfire they are flirting with. They are fucking around with a civil war that could last a decade and cause millions of deaths… and the sad truth is that 95% of the problems we have in this country could be solved tomorrow, by noon… simply by dragging 100 people out in the street and shooting them in the fucking head.”

I’m afraid that the Dem senator is right about getting an amnesty bill passed and signed before the year is out. What is especially galling is that the Republicans are going along with this thing like the good little sycophants that they are.
This is just another of many reasons why the Republican leadership, if you can call them “leaders”, Speaker Boehner and Senator McConnell, desperately need to be replaced like yesterday if not sooner. They are nothing but meek little toadies of the Dems.
I have been a registered Republican since I was first able to vote when I was 21 (before the age limit was dropped to 18). That is going to change. In the next few days, I am going to change my registration to “Independent”. Further, I will not vote for any incumbent in November. And that will include our House Representative, Jaime Herrera-Beutler, who I believe is doing a better than average job. But she will go along with whatever Boehner says.
One more thing: Boehner, McConnell, Reid, and a good many others of their ilk, are excellent reasons for Congressional term limits. Get them out before they can do any more damage to the country than they already have.
Scottie – I am afraid the transformation of the country under Obama is near completion. He doesn’t even need to offer up suggestions anymore, liberal ideology is entrenched in all levels of government and justice. I weep for the next generation, which includes my children & grandkids.
