Bye Bye Carhartt

Bye Bye Carhartt

Bummer, I like their clothes but like Nike, I won’t buy items from companies who go out of their way to support a liberal ideology.

  1. I do have a 20 year old Carhartt jacket but have never purchased anything new from them because of the prices. This just seals the deal for me. I always preferred Dickie trousers anyway, but I will still snag Carhartt at a thrift store.

  2. Carhartt started in Detroit a long time ago. When it was a working man’s city. I’ll buy something old on ebay, but their shit is made in Mexico now anyway.

  3. I have a bunch of their stuff and I have begun removing the label so as not to advertise for them. I won’t get rid of it as I paid good money for them but will not keep their logo nor will I buy any more from them. I have sent them an email stating the same.

  4. i dont hold it against them. although i dont think covid is any more threatening than the flu unless you are over 65 or a big fatso; private companies have the right to say to work here you gotta do this or that. the vaccines seem to pose a threat to some but so does viagra and so does aspirin.

  5. I will not deal with any company that forces their personnel to be vaccinated for COVID. I can take my business elsewhere as I feel people have rights. I have done it as many business require masks and I do not every wear one. Money talks and I walk.

  6. Called them this morning. Told them I was from the real N. California, 41/2 hours north of San Fran and told them I was 72 years old and had been wearing Carhartts for 40 years. I have at least 30 of their shirts in my closet and there won’t be more until they reverse their vaccine policy on their workers.

  7. I used to love buying the latest Nike for my tennis playing. That shit ended years ago.

I used to be a big Nadal fan but his comments about Novak ended that as well last week.

EVERYTHING Regressives touch turns to shit.

  8. They probably kept telling their employees it is voluntary, and they’ll be fired without it (that’s what my company is doing). I wanted to ask if a manager tells the young coed to perform a sex act on him or be fired, is that considered voluntary?
