  1. Is there a link to the CDC report in question? I’d like to believe the image, but I want confirmation.

    Thanks.

  2. So it’s turns out, and I’ve been watching this fatality from Chinese flu only count for a while, that it’s not even as bad as a mild regular flu season. I’ve used it in arguing the idiocy of lock downs and masks, I always get slammed for lying or making shit up.

They’re gonna believe what they want to believe. Anyone that wears a mask jogging in 95 degree weather or alone in their car is past reason.

    1. From FactCheck’s “About Us” page…

“We do not accept funds from corporations with the exception of Facebook, which provides funding as part of Facebook’s initiative to debunk viral deceptions, and Google, which provided a one-time grant to support our COVID-19 coverage in 2020. Neither corporation seeks nor is given any control over our editorial decisions.”

      Sounds legit…

    2. For what it’s worth, FactCheck.org are as “unbiased” as CNN/MSNBC/ABC/CBS/NBC/NPR, et al.

I’d trust them about as much as I’d trust Slick Willie and Sleepy Joe to chaperone a week-long trip of a girls soccer team.

  3. Vietvet, no where near debunked. Actual Covid caused death is 6% of total count. The rest, as admitted by Dr Birx and the CDC itself, is a tally of Covid related deaths. So yeah, the official death toll is 180,000+, however, included in that number are people who died from stage 4 cancer and happened to test positive for covid, and many other such deaths. Sorry if that hurts the narrative but Covid only deaths are minuscule and not worth shutting down the world and wearing face diapers.

  4. Yeah, the thing is, we have all known this from the start, at least the ones who didn’t run around with their hair on fire. Right from the beginning, we were told that it was dangerous to the elderly, and those who had other health problems already. This isn’t news, nor even new.
Then the dumber ones in the country decided it was a deadly disease & we had to all wear face diapers & shut down the economy, because….that’s where it gets funny. There was never a reason. That’s why I’ve been calling it a “nondemic” for months now.

  5. I don’t know what the big deal is. This is exactly what you would expect, and follows the same pattern as influenza deaths. We have known all along that most people who die of Covid-19 have comorbidities. All this says is exactly that — 94% of people who die of Covid-19 have a comorbidity. It should not surprise anybody that someone with pre-existing lung disease would be more vulnerable, as are people with heart disease, etc.

  6. If they have to conduct an autopsy and run tests to confirm if COVID was the cause of death, then I think it MAY have been an underlying factor, but COVID – nope. Anyone who has seen the effects of COVID know of how they passed on.

    1. Yes, I will. They did nothing but twist words to attempt to deflect from the VERY plain fact that the CDC did, in fact, highlight that only 6% have died from ONLY COVID-19. That’s right, they did not reduce the total tally of COVID related deaths which is still 180000+ but it does make a difference in acknowledging that COVID, by itself, is only responsible for 6% of the total. I can’t speak to the scientist dot com’s reputation or that of the specific author, but even previously respected medical journals have been caught putting out partisan fluff, so, one needs to do their own research of the source data rather then get an explanation given to them by a third party.

  7. CDC also published in article in their Emerging Infectious Diseases May 2020 issue saying that masks don’t prevent the transmission of viral disease. CDC has lied to us on a number of things.
