Media Once Again Playing Mind Games…FOX News Jumps In

NBC is prohibiting reporters from using the word “riot” in its coverage of violent outbursts in Minnesota that have occurred in response to the killing of George Floyd.“While the situation on the ground in Minneapolis is fluid, and there has been violence, it is most accurate at this time to describe what is happening there as ‘protests’-not riots,” NBC host Craig Melvin wrote on Twitter Thursday.

Okay, that’s fine, but check out FoxNews, during the hours controlled by the Christ Wallace/Chris Stirewalt liberal “News Division,” and see if anyone on Fox says “riots.”

I saw chyrons on Fox through the day that repeatedly called riots “protests.”

On Fox. Which is just CNN with fat, red-faced male anchors.

The only difference between NBC and Fox is that NBC is being transparent about its censorship/euphemism — whereas Fox gives these orders behind the scenes, and threatens to fire reporters and contributors for breaking the rules and, I’d imagine, even exposing the existance of the rules.

NBC, as biased and leftwing as it is, is clearly announcing its censorship policies here.

Is Fox doing the same? Or hiding them, because they know their audience will abandon them en masse if the truth that they’re a fundamentally progressive/neoliberal organization is permitted to come out?    keep reading….

  1. well sometimes you have to go along with the bullshit to get what you want out there. gotta remember they were bought out by the same people.

  2. Just FYI – pretty much all the MN stations are calling it rioting.

Just check WCCO – that’s CBS here – there’s plenty of stories labelled “Rioting.”

The NBC station here is called KARE 11 – on of their main stories is called “why riot” on their website.

Fox 9 – the Minneapolis FOX network station here has tons of videos with the name “riot” in them.

I’m guessing this is totally wrong – pretty much every local network here is calling it riots.
