Remember if there is a trial in the Senate, Roberts will preside over it. Maybe he will decide there is not enough evidence to support the charges and have them thrown out.

I can’t wait to watch all the libs heads explode when he fills Ginsberg’s seat. The Kavanaugh debacle will be kindergarten play compared to this showdown!
A SCOTUS appointment may be one reason but I
can think of at least two others. Nasty Pelosi has
violated the US Constitution and House rules in
this charade of impeachment proceedings. I very
much doubt that impeachment is their real goal.
The Donks have lost a number of wealthy campaign donors,
including Harvey Weinstein and Jeffery Epstein.
A large number of their donors on Wall Street
and business tycoons have recently stated that
if Princess Gray Beaver wins the nomination,
they will withdraw their support and/or support
Trump.
For most of my 63 years, the Democrats have
been getting 80+ percent of their soft money
donations from wealthy donors. Could this be
a fundraising effort?
The other reason might be to distract attention
away from the mother of all corruption scandals
starting with Biden and his son’s shakedown
in Ukraine. Biden was doing Obama’s bidding
when he blackmailed the Ukrainian president
into firing the prosecutor to protect his son.
This is the tip of the iceberg that is the systemic
corruption in the Obama administration. What
did you expect from a race-baiting shakedown
artist trained at the Chicago school of politics?
The real reason in my estimation is that this
farce is multifaceted.
