Liberal Wet Dream
Retired Supreme Court Judge John Paul Stevens wrote an oped Tuesday in the New York Times calling for the repeal of the Second Amendment of the US Constitution.
That support is a clear sign to lawmakers to enact legislation prohibiting civilian ownership of semiautomatic weapons, increasing the minimum age to buy a gun from 18 to 21 years old, and establishing more comprehensive background checks on all purchasers of firearms. But the demonstrators should seek more effective and more lasting reform. They should demand a repeal of the Second Amendment.

The positive aspect of his comment is that wanting the have the 2nd amendment repealed, he admits that the 2nd amendment actually give an individual the right to bear and keep arms. He wrote the dissenting opinion in Heller vs. District of Columbia.
The biggest fear I have about “gun grabbers” is that they won’t have to come get your guns once they are outlawed. If you ever use them for self defense, you will go to prison. So instead of an all out door-to-door confiscation (which probably would trigger another civil war), they just wait until you use it, then take it away along with you. Scary times!
