ESPN Losing Control Because……Diversity

ESPN African-American, female, talking head Jemele Hill called Trump a “white supremacist” in a tweet in September.

“Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has surrounded himself with other white supremacists,” Hill wrote on Sept 11. She called him “the most ignorant, offensive president of my lifetime.” Hill also called Trump a “bigot,” and “unqualified and unfit to be president.” She even added: “If he were not white, he never would have been elected.”

She was not fired or suspended because Disney CEO didn’t want to hurt her delicate sensibilities due to her race.

“I’ve not ever experienced prejudice, certainly not racism. It’s even hard for me to understand what they’re feeling about this, what it feels like to experience racism. So I felt we needed to take into account what Jemele and other people at ESPN were feeling in this time. That resulted in us not taking action on the tweet she put out.”

Now Ms. Hill is going after  Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and his advertisers because Jerry told his team to stand for the anthem.Screen-Shot-2017-10-09-at-3.44.51-PM-1507578440-compressedvideo_image-469042When you allow these people to get away with saying whatever they want with no consequences, you empower them to say more. Going after one of the most powerful owners in the NFL isn’t particularly smart on Hills part, but because she felt she could say anything without repercussion, she said it.

Now ESPN’s been forced to put a leash on her so they suspended her for two weeks, a slap on the wrist when they should have fired her. Fired her not for being the useful idiot that she is, but for hurting to company she works for…that’s why people get fired. Disney is so terrified of being called racist that they refuse to take the appropriate action against someone with preferred minority status.

Don’t take my word for it, remember Curt Schilling? The white, male former baseball player. ESPN fired him for comments made about Muslims.

“ESPN is an inclusive company,” the network said in a statement. “Curt Schilling has been advised that his conduct was unacceptable and his employment with ESPN has been terminated.”

See how that works, a black woman can call The President of the United States a white supremacist, a bigot, ignorant, and unfit for office and she gets to keep her job. A white male posts an unflattering comment about Muslims, (you know the exploding ones that hate America), on social media and he is terminated.

So a black female sports writer turned ESPN anchor Social Justice Warrior is more valuable to her company than a white former professional pitcher who happens to be conservative.

Strange days indeed my friends, strange days indeed. C0FMUCjUAAAiRLfschilling_rect

  1. With all this chatter about slavery, racism etc. People should stop and look at the history of white slavery, yes people white slavery ie: indentured people working as
    slaves.

Slavery does not just apply to people of color and or other ethnic races, slavery is alive and well in the Middle East yet no one talks about that, no one talks about white slavery period. Look it up in history people, broaden your knowledge.

    1. second on white slavery and slavery was happening in the middle east until around 1970, but the country that made it wrong is at fault ?

      1. Slavery is still alive and well in the Middle East, don’t be ignorant on that fact, as for white slavery and slavery as a whole: it’s always been there, tribes attack tribes, countries attack countries, eras such as Roman times, indentured people to pay off a debt, can you pin point when slavery started?

        1. I read books on everything and have averaged 50 the past two years, I’m about the least ignorant person of any room I walk into.

I had read that Saudi was the last middle east country with slavery and ended around 1970.

(btw, you can help prevent skin cancer by consuming eggplants; I read the only book on it)

  2. I remember when espn had no politics, it was great.

I would watch sportscenter for hours on end because it was all highlights and seeing the same highlight over and over was great.

and all broadcasts were by men, now it’s like watching the view.

much like women have shopping to get away from it all, guys had espn; but espn screwed it all up and I bet espn has been losing viewers ever since they first brought a woman to broadcast college football.
