The Perversion Of The Roses
2) As I’ve pointed out in recent weeks, someone seems to be holding the US Constitution upside down: We have courtrooms presuming to be legislatures, and the legislature pretending to be a courtroom. Both perversions are part of the systemic dysfunction that obstructs proper representative government. The allegedly Republican Congress should investigate less, and try legislating some of the President’s agenda. _Mark Steyn on Comey hearings here….

To Steyn’s point that the Russia investigation will continue until all possible successors are systematically expunged, I disagree. I think they would probably stop at Ryan. He is their perfect establishment guy to be Prez. Both parties would be happy to support him. In the meantime, the Repugs would prefer to be complicit in the witch hunt than to legislate and capitalize on their majorities. I would really like to see the President clear out all the Deep Staters in his admin and all the agencies. It’s our last chance to stop the insanity. I pray he stays strong.
If Trump would just shut the hell up twitterwize on comey and Russia, the USA could move on and show it’s really showing progress as border crossings have collapsed, isis is on the run in the area it ruled just 6 months ago and the first coal mine has opened in 6 years.
I know that the media and left will hound trump his whole term, but you would think he would wise up and stop handing them softballs.
I think he’s a knuckle-baller! Media collapsing in on themselves as he accomplishes your list above and so much more.
It boils down to Trump isn’t a member of the “Washington D.C. Beltway Politician’s Club” and his presidency at the will of millions of common American citizens is seen as illegitimate. If I were Trump I’d be doubling the number of “tweets” and ramping up their viciousness. He’s a solid street fighter and he knows this is a fight to the death. The death of a Constitutional America if he’s neutralized.
