That’s exactly what it sounded like.
That’s what I heard too.
The bumbling mumbler did say “I was talkin’ to your wife.” At first I, too, heard it otherwise. But listen now that you know what he said, and you will hear “talkin'” not the other. Still, it’s a weird thing to say, as is so common with mumbles and bumbles.
Maybe if it was “I was F**king your country” there’d be no doubt what he said.
