Open Up The Flood Gates

Open Up The Flood Gates

Now that the senate has passed a POS bill for amnesty, you might as well send the border patrol home and save a few pesos. The border will be uncontrollable with the flood of illegals hoping to reap the benefits of amnesty. The sad thing, it is the middle of summer and these illegals are going to be crossing at the most hazardous time of the year, many I am sure will die from the heat with the promise of amnesty just across the desert.

Congratulations you pompous asshats, not only have you put the country in jeopardy for decades, you probably initiated a death march for hundreds if not thousands of illegals. I assume they didn’t think about that in their rush to lock up 20 million votes.

CBO States Immigration Reform Good For America

CBO States Immigration Reform Good For America

Once again this is easy. The Congressional Budget Office is supposed to be non-partisan, just like the IRS.
Any questions?

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has released its analysis of the economic impact of the Gang of Eight’s immigration-reform proposal. Proponents are likely to emphasize the report’s findings that the bill would reduce the federal deficit by $197 billion over the next decade (although Republicans will likely be asked to explain why this estimate is any more reliable than the CBO’s predictions regarding Obamacare).

“Other aspects of the bill would probably increase the number of unauthorized residents — in particular, people overstaying their visas issued under the new programs for temporary workers,” CBO writes. And as a result, “the net annual flow of unauthorized residents would decrease by about 25 percent relative to what would occur under current law.” That’s not an insignificant reduction, but it hardly inspires confidence that Gang’s proposal will be more successful than the failed 1986 reform bill at preventing future illegal immigration. Regarding our current levels of illegal immigration, Senator Marco Rubio has often said one of the goal’s of this bill is “to ensure this never happens again in the future.”

Congress has already passed laws (following the 9/11 terror attacks) meant to tackle the visa-overstay problem, but the federal government has yet to install a biometric entry-exit system to make sure individuals leave the country when they are supposed to. Rubio has repeatedly identified this as a flaw in the current immigration system, and has said he would not support a reform bill unless “enforcement mechanisms are in place.”

On Tuesday, Rubio joined Democrats and six other Republicans to defeat an amendment to the bill that would have required the implementation of an entry-exit system to track visa overstays before illegal immigrants are granted legal status. Despite expressing his “support” for the “goal” of the amendment, offered by Senator David Vitter (R., La.), Rubio said in a statement that he opposed the amendment because it “delays the process of submitting illegal immigrants to background checks and the imposition of fines for having violated our immigration laws.” He promised to ”continue working with my Republican colleagues to improve the entry-exit system measures in the legislation.”

Closing The Barn Door After The Horse Is Out

Closing The Barn Door After The Horse Is Out

Amnesty. Our elected officials are in the process of destroying what is left of this country. If they do get amnesty passed, (which I think will happen), kiss the American way of life as you remember it goodbye.

I have heard all of the blathering about compassion and bringing this part of the population out of the shadows because these poor people can’t do anything out of fear of deportation. Well, yeah, that’s the point when you break the law, which is exactly what these people in the shadows have done. Why should I have compassion for an illegal act. They crossed in whatever fashion in the shadows knowing that this activity is against the laws of the land. As much as I don’t like Obamacare it will be the law of the land. If I don’t pay a fine or buy health insurance, I can go to jail. So why should 20 million illegals get a free pass?

Make no mistake here, these people will go on the welfare roles, have as many kids possible for anchor babies, put them in our schools, get on Obamacare, Medicare, Medicaid, and not pay their share to cover the costs. I work with them, I have seen how they scam the system, if you think e-verify works think again. It is well known where to get a social security card to bypass e-verify. There is a huge black market in SS numbers and if they get caught, they go under a different name and get a new number. Have you been to an emergency room lately? Have you stood in line at your local market and watched a woman from south of the border somewhere, with up to five or six kids paying with an EBT card? Have you watched your local news and took notice of how many criminal acts were committed by someone with a mexican name?

You can say that I am profiling a group of people and that they all act the same, not at all. I am sure that there are many here legally and only want to be Americans and left alone, unfortunately it is not one or two bad apples that are spoiling the lot, it is the other way around. Peaceful law abiding Mexicans seem to be the exception not the rule.

So why the push for amnesty? Why would Obama and his minions be pushing so hard?  Easy answer, votes.
When amnesty is established, Democrats just gained 20 million voters. Don’t you think  that the illegals will be loyal to the party that just gave them a free pass to the land of milk and honey? And Republicans are jumping on board because they want to show the Spanish population that they too understand their plight, and would love to get a few million voting GOP, because some jackass said Romney lost the election because he could not curry favor with the Spanish voters. Bullshit. When you have to go against your constituency to garner votes you have given up your principles and are not worthy to speak for us.

To say that any politician will be held liable for voting for amnesty is ridiculous, the horse has left the barn at that point. You can’t undo amnesty, 20 million people just became legal and so you elect a politician to replace the one that voted “yay”? So what, you just handed the keys to the country to the Democrats and you won’t get it back for decades. And what is sad, if you look at Detroit, Chicago, or Sacramento, when you have Democrats in charge for any length of time, they destroy the city. So I don’t know that America can survive decades of Democratic control, even if Republicans control congress, we can see with this vote that they don’t care about conservative American values, they care about power.

So wake up kids, this is important! Contact your congressman and senators and scream “Hell No” on amnesty. I just did, It’s all I can do at this point.

Why Immigration Reform Won’t Work – A Short List

Why Immigration Reform Won’t Work – A Short List

This is an easy to understand list of why the Gang of Eights plan for amnesty is a bust. It does nothing but empower the DHS and gives 11 million people a free ticket to America, while people who are doing it legally get screwed. And if you think 11 million is the number, wait until it passes, the numbers will explode and no border control will be able to handle the influx of illegals looking for that free ticket. Oh and by the way, Rubio can’t be trusted, just another politician going along to get along. And his new buddies, Shumer, McRhino, and Gramnesty? Not exactly a gang who has the American peoples best interest in mind, only their own agenda.

Found it here:

“Multiple triggers”/Legalization is immediate. DHS just  has to write border “plan.”  The most any “triggers” can possibly do  is delay green cards and citizenship.

“90 % effectiveness”/ If not reached, triggers only toothless commission

“Pay back taxes”/ Only if already “assessed” by IRS (unlikely). Newly  legalized may instead get refunds.

“Learn English”/ Only need to sign up for English class.

“Clean record”/ Allows two free misdemeanors. Additional  misdemeanors (including assaults) can be waived by DHS.

No “public charge.” Must earn 125% of poverty line / They’re  going to deport people who earn only 124% or less? Ha.

“Pay a fine”/ Can be waived by DHS

“Back of the line”/ Get to wait out the line while  living in the U.S (unlike suckers trying to come here legally).

Border fence/ Leaves it up to DHS, which decided not to complete fence in first  place

“Comprehensive Southern Border Security Strategy”/ Only has  to be “substantially” operational–whatever that means, as defined by DHS–before  green cards are issued. (Legalization has already happened, remember!)

“E-verify” employment checks/ Replaces E-Verify with new system. Requires  only that this system be “implemented” ( 30%? 70%? Who knows?).  Subject to  lawsuit. If still in court after 10 years, never mind!

Entry-exit system for visas/Has been required since 1996.  DHS must only be “using” a system before green cards can be issued.  (Using in 10% of airports? 50%? Again, who knows?)

Why Don’t We Know?

Why Don’t We Know?

If our borders are more secure than ever before, why don’t we know who is here? Homeland Security is just another federal boondoggle and waste. How did they help Boston? This department did not exist 12 years ago.

Much like Pelosi’s famous words “we need to pass Obamacare to know what’s in it”, apparently we need to pass amnesty to find out who is here.
It is stunning these people are in charge.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) argued Tuesday that immigration reform would enhance the nation’s security as he sought to prevent concerns raised by the Boston bombings from derailing the bipartisan legislation.

“Under the status quo, we do not know who is here and might be intending to do us harm,” Reid wrote in a letter to Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.).

“The bipartisan immigration reform proposal introduced last week would enable us to identify and perform criminal background and national security checks on immigrants who are here unlawfully,” he wrote.

Total Bullshit!! Give them amnesty, there are another 20 million ready to come here illegally. Politicians are idiots.

Amnesty: Pay To Play

Amnesty: Pay To Play

THEY DON’T PAY TAXES!!

Mexicans don’t pay taxes, big news dumb-asses. I am not trying to be controversial on this, I know them personally, they will do whatever it takes to screw the system. I know this for fact. They will TAKE free health care, no taxes paid, cash for work, free education…need I go further? This Gang of Eight Amnesty bill is a travesty and should be struck down in the harshest language.

Negotiators had to choose between a hard-line approach favored by Republicans, like Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), that would have required immigrants and employers to painstakingly piece together a tax history so the government could collect what is owed and a less burdensome option of focusing on people who already have a past-due bill with the Internal Revenue Service.

They chose the milder approach and punted the details to the Treasury Department and IRS to hash out down the road.

The legislation now simply requires any currently undocumented immigrant to pay “any applicable federal tax liability.” That most likely means that only those people who filed tax paperwork like a W-2 or I-9 form with their employer could potentially be hit by a tax bill, and only if they missed a tax payment in the past.

Negotiators continued using the term “back taxes” when selling the plan and trying to allay concerns among conservatives that the proposal would not be tough enough on immigrants who entered the country illegally.

“The term back taxes is part of their lingo, but I think what people want is to make sure people are paying their fair share,” said Marshall Fitz, the director of immigration policy at the liberal Center for American Progress. “There isn’t this punitive retribution mentality like you have to go back and correct all of your mistakes.”

The dishonesty of the amnesty crowd is breathtaking even by the usual low standards of politics. Of course, since they won’t even admit it’s amnesty (and it is amnesty), this isn’t anything remotely surprising.

The Most Pressing Issue Of Our Day

The Most Pressing Issue Of Our Day

Gay immigration legislation!
No other issue could possibly be considered more important than letting gay Americans troll for gay lovers from South America with the promise of legal status. Finally we are getting something done in Washington!
(sarcasm added by author)

Who the fuck is in charge around here?
These people should be thrown out of office for wasting taxpayers time and money.

More than a dozen House lawmakers reintroduced legislation that would let immigrants in same-sex marriages sponsor their partners for legal residency.

Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) reintroduced the bill, the Uniting American Families Act, on Tuesday. The legislation is cosposored by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), Reps. Richard Hanna (R-N.Y.), Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.), Charlie Dent (R-Pa.), Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.), John Conyers (D-Mich.), Jared Polis (D-Colo.), David Cicilline (D-R.I.), Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.), Mark Pocan (D-Wis.), Mark Takano (D-Calif.), Sean Maloney (D-N.Y.), Mike Honda (D-Calif.), and Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.).

Currently, only immigrants in heterosexual marriages can sponsor their spouses for legal residency. The Uniting American Families Act (UAFA) would include “permanent partner” in the Immigration and Naturalization act in order to include immigrants in same-sex relationships. The same benefits and penalties applied to heterosexual marriages would apply to same sex marriages under the legislation.
