Depending on the mission, it can bristle with weapons from six different mounts. Wood said the boat on order has a remote-controlled weapon mount for a .50-caliber machine gun — or other weapon — on a mast behind the cockpit. It will also have a twin weapon mount on the bow that is controlled from the cockpit, as well as four mounts for crew-served weapons elsewhere on the boat. The mounts include electrical power supply to allow the use of mini-guns.

So we are to believe that two of these boats broke down at the same time? They couldn’t communicate with their command ship? No tow rope?

The ship has cabin space that can be configured to carry more than 20 troops or serve as a floating command post with extra communication gear.

Sorry, something is terribly wrong here.  I think this was done on purpose.

I don’t understand this at all. Two attack vessels loaded with enough firepower to decimate the dingys the Iranians showed up in, yet our people are forced to surrender. The boats were in the area for a reason, they were apparently told to go where they went, why would they not defend themselves? More Obama “rules of engagement”?

Is it just me or does something seem a bit sketchy here. Would Obama order these men into harms way for political gain in an attempt to prove the Iranians are reasonable in returning the sailors?   CYneIXIWwAMk1Ci  h/t weasel zippers for images.

When I saw this story and image I remembered something Matt Bracken wrote.  In Brackens essay “Tet, Take Two: Islam’s 2016 European Offensive“, European nationalists have been destroyed by radical Islam with the help of Europe’s Elite International Socialists. He ponders the allegiance of a victorious International Socialist versus it’s partner in world domination, Islam.

International socialism and world Islamism are both evil totalitarian ideologies rooted in a quest for absolute power, but I believe that more socialists will convert to Islam than the other way around, tending to tip the final outcome in that direction. Why? Because you can live without accepting a suitcase full of Euros or a juicy job offer as a bribe. But you cannot live with your head removed from your shoulders.

 

Another enduring but rarely examined weapon in the Islamic conquest armory is the offer of amnesty to well-placed infidel leaders who agree to convert to Mohammedism. Can I see Angela Merkel wearing a hijab? Yes, certainly. Whether the badge she wears on her suit is red or black won’t matter to the former Communist, not if it is a matter of saving her neck while retaining her status. Study the history of Islamic conquest, and you will find numerous cases where Western leaders announced — after clandestinely opening the city gates to hijra invasion — that they had already converted to Islam.

Now it all makes sense.

**I inadvertently listed Josh Ernest as this spokesman, I was informed it is John Kirby (State Department). Before I posted I checked to see who was Obama press secretary and saw an image of Ernest, I guess all of Obamas spin doctors look the same to me. I apologize for the confusion. Pretty sure I got Baghdad Bob correct though.

 

John Kirby* explains Obama foreign policy in one amazing moment of honesty at the 1:20 mark of the clip. He stammers through this trying to pick his words carefully, but when he can’t spin a bullshit answer, the truth comes out.
