Did Bergdahl desert his post or not? Susan Rice said he served honorably, Sean Smith, a soldier who was in his outfit said he deserted. So what is it? Rumor has it his disappearance was under investigation as a deserter, well you can’t have it both ways.
If he deserted he should have been left to the Taliban. If it was a misunderstanding and he was captured against his will then I’m glad he is back. Either way somebody has some ‘splainin to do.
His Dad certainly does not promote a lot of faith in the latter.
At the end of the brief event, the soldier’s father, Bob Bergdahl, recited the most frequent phrase in the Koran — “Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim” —which means “In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Compassionate.”
After Bergdahl finished his statement and his praise for Allah, Obama hugged him.

If, and only “if” for now, Bergdahl actually did desert and go over to the Taliban five years ago, then he should be tried in a JAG court martial. And if they find him guilty, again “if”, then he should have to face a firing squad. Or life in Leavenworth in the open population there. It would not be very long at all before he was “taken care of”. A week, maybe? I that long.
But, with the regime we are saddled with today in Washington, DC, he will be given a high ranking position in the Department of Defense by The Ayatollah Obama (may his grave be forever shit upon by pigs). Or Hillary will make him her Vice-Presidential running mate in 2016. Maybe SecState John Heinz-Kerry (or is it Kerry-Heinz?) will put him on as liaison to his buddy-pals, the Taliban. You know, one traitor looking out for his own kind. (Jane Fonda is SO fucking proud!!)
Am I hyper-cynical about things in DC? Goddam right I am!!!

I don’t know if he is a deserter or not, but two things seem clear.
One, he left his post (he was supposed to be on guard duty). Maybe he was just stretching his legs and getting some fresh air, maybe he went to the latrine, maybe he deserted. But the bottom line is that he left his post without being properly relieved, which is a crime under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
Two, six soldiers were killed while searching for him.
Six dead Americans. Five released terrorists. A terrible precedent set. Was it worth it? I’m not sure.
BTW – heard anything about the VA scandal lately…?

It seems as though just about every week or so, that gang of lying mother-fuckers in DC have another scandal to bullshit us about. First it was Fast and Furious, then it was Benghazi, and the VA, and the Bergdahl swap, and the no-action on the Keystone pipeline, and Obamacare, and whatever else was in between these. Why hasn’t The Lying Ayatollah Obama (may his grave be forever shit upon by pigs) been impeached? Because of the absolute lack of balls by the gutless House of Non-Representatives.
His first lie after being elected in 2008 was when he took the Oath of Office on January 20, 2009, when he swore to “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution …”. Since that one the lies come every time he opens his mouth, with or without his handy-dandy teleprompter. I’d bet the son-of-a-bitch even lies when he tells his daughters goodnight.
