The Bribery For Amnesty Continues
As usual the latest brand of Republican is falling for the “Border Security” lie coming from democrats, and as Reagan found out, those promises will go unfulfilled. But a larger picture shows that greed and job security are a major influence on the GOP, more than any promises made in the dark.
Diaz-Balart, a major player in ongoing efforts to produce a bill that could balance Republican demands for border security with Democratic calls for legal status for the undocumented, said a solution is closer than ever.
“I think we finally have the policy right,” he said in a phone interview. “I think we have figured out a way to secure, to have border and interior security, holding the administration accountable for the enforcement … forcing the administration to enforce the law whether they want to or not. And I think we figured out a way to deal with the folks that are here in a way that is fair — fair, by the way, to those in the legal system … who are doing everything legally, and also deals with the folks that are here in a way that is fair and reasonable. And adheres, strictly adheres, to the rule of law.
“So I think we finally have the policy right. And what we’re finding is more and more people out there as they’re seeing it, different aspects of the policy, are starting to say, ‘Hey, that is something that makes sense.’”
“It is as close as we have ever been. It is still a big, big, heavy lift,” he said. “I think we’re going to get there.”
The reason, of course, is two fold. One is the Cult likes new citizens from authoritarian hell holes like those in South America. These little brown people don’t mind working in the field and living in tin shacks. More important, they never question the big man in the big house on the hill. Those rowdy white people from Northern Europe make bad subjects so the Democrats, the political wing of the CML, favor open borders.
The GOP, on the other hand, just likes being bribed. Boehner is stuffing his pockets with money from the Billionaire Boys Club to push amnesty. When all the rich people are for something, there’s no stopping it. They have no qualms about handing traitors like John Boehner their pieces of silver. To them, it is pocket change. For Boehner, it is an easy way to get rich. The mountain of evidence that it will destroy his political party will never overcome crass greed.

I’ve been a Republican ever since I was first able to vote as an 21-year-old in northern Montana. That was more than 60 years ago. With the way the mainstream Republicans are acting today, I am going to change my Republican membership registration to Independent. The Republicans, led by Speaker Boehner, today are showing themselves to be nothing more than the somewhat right wing of the Democrat Party. The only, repeat ONLY, way the Republicans are going to win back the White House in 2016 is for Hillary not to run for President. Another thing. The mainstream Republican will do well to remember that if they had been doing their jobs, the Tea Party would not be at all necessary.
If Hillary doesn’t run, who are the Dumocrats going to field? Biden? Kerry-Heinz (or is it Heinz-Kerry)? Pinocchio Pelosi? Dirty Harry Reid? All are all but guaranteed wins for any Republican candidate.
But, given the way the Ayatollah Obama is using the Constitution for toilet paper on a near daily basis, I will not be at all surprised if he decides to declare himself to be above Constitutional law and declare the Presidential term limit Amendment (the 25th is it?) null and void via another of his endless “Executive Decrees”. Don’t laugh. With this asshole, it could very well happen.
Scottie – I assumed to beat the red threat we had to fight with our votes. I see now that it really doesn’t matter, they are all cut from the same cloth, some red some blue but the same fabric.
While I find it hard to agree with Ralph Nader, I 100% agree with something he said when he was running for president. It went along the lines of “The only difference between democrats and republicans is the speed with which they bend their knees when special interest groups come knocking on their doors.”
Tim – Seems like even the most ardent republican is willing to wheel and deal with anyone who can thicken their wallets or replenish their campaign war chest. I guess that is why Tea Party politicians worry them so, it interrupts the natural cash flow of politics.
