Senate Intelligence Committee Not So Intelligent

Why? Why now?
We can’t get emails from the IRS or answers about Benghazi but we are allowing classified papers about how we get terrorists to talk to be de-classified. For what? So the liberals can go all ape shit about Bush and Cheney again. You want to put these papers out just before mid-term elections?

Over 3000 people were killed on 9/11. Any discomfort terrorists had to endure pales in comparison. What in the hell is wrong with these people?

The Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday voted to declassify parts of a report that is highly critical of CIA interrogation methods following Sept. 11, 2001.

The Senate panel voted 11-3 to release parts of the executive summary and the conclusions of the 6,200-page report, which reviewed more than 100 individuals detained and interrogated by the CIA at clandestine detention facilities from 2001 to 2009.

“The purpose of this review was to uncover the facts behind this secret program, and the results were shocking,” Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein, who chairs the committee, said in a statement. “The report exposes brutality that stands in stark contrast to our values as a nation. It chronicles a stain on our history that must never again be allowed to.”

The Senate and CIA have recently been at odds with each other. Senators have accused the agency of spying on the committee and whipping files from their computers, a claim currently being investigated by the Justice Department.

  1. “Senate intelligence” is the ultimate in oxymorons. And what the hell does Diane Feinstein know about the values of the U.S.? She is from California, a state that is more f**ked up than Washington, DC. And that is only because California is bigger and has more people.
In a post a couple of days ago, I wrote that Washington, DC is where commons sense goes to die. But in California, common sense is not only dead, but non-existent as well. (Is that a redundancy?) All one has to do is look at who the voters in California send to Washington, DC – Feinstein, Pelosi, and Boxer, to name just a few. And we mustn’t forget Governor Moonbeam Brown. They had that space cadet as governor a good many years ago, and they reelected him again! Sheeeeesh!!
The California voters have absolutely no common sense. They have absolutely no shame, either.
