The Greatest Generation defeated the Facists and Imperial Japan. They won the cold war against the Communist.
Now the facists and communists are running our country.
Sad indeed.
Economic fascism and socialism were fully embedded in the US when the “Greatest Generation” went off to fight and die for FDR and his big business friends. None of it went away when they got back either.
Doing what he did, carrying the knowledge of what he had to do, what he saw and seeing friends die,,knowing what he sacrificed and what it was sacrificed For, only to have to watch as society turns into something that doesn’t appreciate it, many don’t agree with it, and America becoming something that, today, he might wonder if he would go do it again, because it’s not something he is willing to die for. I sure as hell wouldn’t.
Go risk it all. IF you come home, don’t worry, we will be right here, with the care and support you need.

I got to watch the first 20 seconds, then it froze. I then went to X to watch it (from the source) and it stopped again in the same place. Evidently, we are not supposed to know what we already know.
Once it was a day to celebrate the end of a war. Now it is a day to celebrate the folks who make government’s wars of aggression possible.
Same here, got to hear some of it then it just lost the audio and most of the video is silent.
