The Amnesty Train

The Amnesty Train

Since Obama got the hispanic vote in the last election, the Republicans have decided that they want that future base and are going to climb on board the amnesty train to get it. So as a Republican it apparently does not matter what your constituency wants, but what furthers the goals of the party, even if that means going against the majority of the people who elected them.

Obama and his regime have accomplished what I thought impossible. They are dismantling the GOP by pitting republicans against the other. I know center left, center right, far left, far right has always been a part of politics, but what I find astounding is that the line has not changed, but political extortion has forced the line to be blurred. Republicans are willing to go against long-held principles and propose immigration reform that is clearly left of center. So what does that make the GOP, other than a bunch of spineless cowards I mean? Well, that makes them Obama Republicans, a label that should make most of them vulnerable in upcoming primaries, which splits votes, which in turn elects Democrats. Game changer.

Amnesty flies in the face of our laws. Amnesty in any form benefits the rule breaker and encourages….no….outright emboldens a multitude of people to continue breaking the law. Simply put we will have built a five lane highway across our borders with the promise of immediate citizenship. The people coming across illegally do so with the belief that amnesty is not a dream, but a reality thanks to the rumblings coming out of  Washington DC. Obama’s executive order to halt deportations and put parts of the Dream Act in gear gave him the hispanic vote, of course it did, just like all policies of the left. We will give you “things” that Republicans are not willing to give out.
The Obama house gives out $100 bills on Halloween while the Republican house hands out a Tootsie roll, duh. Problem is the cash Obama is giving out is not his to give, and it will run out eventually. So this Halloween, the Repubicans want to start handing out $100 bills because they want to be popular like the Obama house.

Which leads us to the next problem, who funds the cost of the 12 million new citizens? Are they immediately eligible for social security, medicaid, medicare? Of course they are, along with public education, public housing, food stamps, and a myriad of other social programs.

This is a lose-lose for our country and Republicans have fallen into a well placed trap, like flies caught in a spiders web, they can wriggle and scream all they want, but the final outcome is inevitable, a blood sucking insect is going to devour you. And that my friends is where we are headed.
