It really is quite simple. Everyone is smart except Donald J. Trump. That’s why they all are billionaires and all got elected President. Only Trump does not know what he is doing. Only Trump does not know how to negotiate with Vladimir Putin. Anderson Cooper knows how to stand up to Putin. The whole crowd at MSNBC does. All the journalists do.
They could not stand up to Matt Lauer at NBC. They could not stand up to Charlie Rose at CBS. They could not stand up to Mark Halperin at NBC. Nor up to Leon Wieseltier at the New Republic, nor Jann Wenner at Rolling Stone, nor Michael Oreskes at NPR, at the New York Times, or at the Associated Press. But — oh, wow! — can they ever stand up to Putin! Only Trump is incapable of negotiating with the Russian tyrant.
Remember the four years when Anderson Cooper was President of the United States? And before that — when the entire Washington Post editorial staff jointly were elected to be President? Remember? Neither do I.
The Seedier Media never have negotiated life and death, not corporate life and death, and not human life and death. They think they know how to negotiate, but they do not know how. They go to a college, are told by peers that they are smart, get some good grades, proceed to a graduate degree in journalism, and get hired as analysts. Now they are experts, ready to take on Putin and the Iranian Ayatollahs at age 30.

Montana Resident Calls It Like She Sees It

Montana Resident Calls It Like She Sees It

I have seen this before but it is worth an encore.

Alan Simpson, the Senator from Wyoming  calls senior citizens the Greediest Generation as he compared “Social Security  ” to a Milk Cow with 310 million teats. Here’s a response in a letter from  PATTY MYERS in Montana … I think she is a little ticked off! She also tells  it like it is!

“Hey Alan, let’s get a few things  straight!!!

1. As a career politician, you have  been on the public dole (tit) for FIFTY YEARS.

2. I have been paying Social  Security taxes for 48 YEARS (since I was 15 years old. I am now  63).

3. My Social Security payments, and  those of millions of other Americans, were safely tucked away in an interest  bearing account for decades until you political pukes decided to raid the  account and give OUR money to a bunch of zero losers in return for votes, thus  bankrupting the system and turning Social Security into a Ponzi scheme that  would make Bernie Madoff proud.     4. Recently, just like Lucy &  Charlie Brown, you and “your ilk” pulled the proverbial football away from  millions of American seniors nearing retirement and moved the goalposts for  full retirement from age 65 to age, 67. NOW, you and your “shill commission”  are proposing to move the goalposts YET AGAIN.

5. I, and millions of other  Americans, have been paying into Medicare from Day One, and now “you morons”  propose to change the rules of the game. Why? Because “you idiots” mismanaged  other parts of the economy to such an extent that you need to steal our money  from Medicare to pay the bills.

6. I, and millions of other  Americans, have been paying income taxes our entire lives, and now you propose  to increase our taxes yet again. Why? Because you “incompetent bastards” spent  our money so profligately that you just kept on spending even after you ran  out of money. Now, you come to the American taxpayers and say you need more to  pay off YOUR debt. To add insult to injury, you label us “greedy” for  calling “bullshit” to your incompetence.   Well, Captain Bullshit, I have a few  questions for YOU:

1. How much money have you earned  from the American taxpayers during your pathetic 50-year political  career?

2. At what age did you retire from  your pathetic political career, and how much are you receiving in annual  retirement benefits from the American taxpayers?

3. How much do you pay for YOUR  government provided health insurance?

4. What cuts in YOUR retirement and  healthcare benefits are you proposing in your disgusting deficit reduction  proposal, or as usual, have you exempted yourself and your political  cronies? It is you, Captain Bullshit, and your political co-conspirators  called Congress who are the “greedy” ones. It is you and your fellow nutcase thieves who have bankrupted America and stolen the American dream from millions of loyal, patriotic taxpayers. And for what? Votes and your job and retirement security at our expense, you lunk-headed, leech. That’s right,  sir. You and yours have bankrupted America for the sole purpose of advancing  your pathetic, political careers. You know it, we know it, and you know that  we know it.
And you can take that to the bank,  you miserable son of a bitch.   P.S. And stop calling Social Security  benefits “entitlements”. WHAT AN INSULT!!!! I have been paying in to the  SS system for 45 years “It’s my money”-give it back to me the way the system  was designed and stop patting yourself on the back like you are being generous  by doling out these monthly checks.

Obama Stabs His Own In The Back

Obama Stabs His Own In The Back

Obama just proved he thinks he is above reproach. He just signed a law that will piss off tree huggers for years, let alone showing no regard for the health of the America. We will see if any in the MSM have the guts to call him on it.

That’s the real political impact of this: Obama’s own actions now prove he will betray progressives and democrats on the issues that matter to them, too. The GMO issue is a super-hot topic on the political left. Anyone who conspires with Monsanto is instantly — and justifiably — branded a “sellout” and a traitor to the People. This is why companies like Kashi, a cereal manufacturer that uses GMOs but doesn’t label its products as containing GMO, is feeling tremendous heat from the GMO labeling boycott efforts. Informed consumers are outright punishing any company, politician or media organization that allies itself with the interests of Monsanto.

That list now clearly includes Obama himself. By signing this into law, he betrayed America and granted Monsanto and the biotech industry unprecedented power over federal courts. He essentially took away the power of the government to halt the continued growing and commercialization of dangerous genetically engineered crops. And he got caught doing so.

There is no excuse for signing the Monsanto Protection Act into law

Gun Companies Calling It A Day

Gun Companies Calling It A Day

These companies have either committed or are considering leaving anti-gun states in support of the Second Amendment. If Remington goes, the push back on Cuomo will be intense.

Magpul – As the debate unfolds, states have made overtures to Magpul, including offering to pay their moving costs. The company won’t name the states, but Wyoming and Texas have expressed interest in netting the $85 million the company projects it will spend in Colorado next year in payments to suppliers, subcontractors and service providers. Magpul said the move would also impact its 200 employees, plus an additional 400 who work for suppliers and subcontractors.

“We truly believe this bill will do nothing. It’s a feel-good measure,” Fitzpatrick said. “But these (workers) will be directly affected.”
As far as his company leaving the state, Fitzpatrick said his company is serious. “It’s not really a threat. It’s a promise,” he said. more here

Baretta – Reh also warned the bill could prompt Beretta USA, which employs between 300 and 400 people in the state, to leave for friendlier climes.

“[W]e are confronted with a state government that wants to ban our products at a time, by the way, when numerous other state governments are courting our investment,” Reh said. “It is worth noting that these other states also do not try to blame a product for human misconduct.” more here

Sheild Tactical –  California retailer and firearms training provider, has decided to ‘get the heck out of Dodge’ — and move to Texas.

John W. Harrington founded Shield Tactical in 2008, but with California’s hard-line stance on gun control, he decided the state was no longer a good place for his business. Harrington, originally from Texas, said it was finally “time to go home.”

The company announced the move on its Facebook page last week, and the post has received more than 1,000 likes. At the time of our conversation, Harrington said the page had received about 4,000 more likes, as well as plenty of welcoming posts and comments from Texans. “I’m not surprised at all,” he said. “People of Texas — it’s hard to describe the spirit of Texans.” more here

Remington – Local officials in central New York warned of the impact should Remington Arms, a gun manufacturer in Ilion, Herkimer County, decide to pull out of the state. John Stephens, Ilion mayor, said Remington employs 1,300 people and has an economic impact of $150 million a year. He said his constituents are “nervous, reasonably so.”

“(Remington has) been pretty silent, which I guess from my standpoint, if I was that business, I probably would, too,” Stephens said. “They’re weighing their options. The reality is there, certainly.” Remington employees were among the thousands at the protest, showing their support by wearing green. One protester’s sign read: “Founded in 1816: Remington stays, Cuomo goes!” more here

No Apologies

No Apologies

Let the sequester happen…and don’t apologize for Obama’s bad policy.

In 2008 I was laid off due to the housing market crash, created by the Clinton Administration. I have worked for three different private sector companies since. One shut the doors because they could not compete in this economy, the next was a commission job for a greedy and crazy employer, (that lasted two months), and my current position was a fall back on a trade I learned in my 20’s. I am making 22% less and my taxes are higher than they were in 2008 and I have not had health insurance since the early ’90s, small construction companies can’t afford it. To put it mildly I am not impressed with Obama’s economy, and in 2014 I am going to have to pay for health insurance or a fine whether I can afford it or not. Instead of planning for the future, saving money for retirement,  I will be cutting back just to survive.

When I hear about all of these federal employees and their unions whining about taking a day a week off due to cuts I cringe. Their pay has been frozen but the vaunted benefits are the same. I have gone backwards and the federal government has added employees since Obama became POTUS. So the only “business” that thrives in a recession, apparently, is the federal government. And they produce nothing.

Union leaders cannot stop the furloughs or determine who in each agency must take them. They are demanding that employees be able to choose when to take days off and volunteer for more to help financially strapped colleagues. They want guarantees that no one will be penalized when work does not get done and assurances that managers cannot choose favorites to spare.

“Many of you will be missing eight, 10, 20 days of work,” Alex Bastani, president of Local 12 of the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), told a standing-room-only crowd of 400 Labor Department employees Thursday at a lunchtime town hall on sequestration.

“The imminence of it is what’s scaring me,” Louise Leonard Campbell, an economist for the Bureau of Labor Statistics, said Thursday as she left the meeting. “I’m a single mom. My son has health issues. This is just snowballing.”

“We are just living from one paycheck to another, and this could be really bad for us,” said Jorge Figueroa of Silver Spring, who works in quality control for the unemployment insurance division. He has four children, two in college. “I am telling you, this is going to be very stressful.”

Until you do something that benefits me or mine you get zero sympathy. As a matter of fact you can kiss my ass, you should feel blessed and lucky you have a job.
