Empty Head

Olympic gold medal skier Lindsey Vonn says she’ll represent the United States, but not President Trump, when she returns to the Winter Games in February. “I hope to represent the people of the United States, not the president,” Vonn said this week amid the buildup to the 2018 games in PyeongChang, South Korea.   here….

Well kiss my ass Ms. Vonn, I don’t give a damn about you or your politics. You’re a B league celebrity in a sport that nobody cares about and only watches during the Olympics. Get on with your future career in porn and save us your pious opinions.697058884

  1. Athletes, actors, and other “personalities” should not use the stage audiences provide them as a place to promote their personal beliefs. “Stars” are richly rewarded financially directly and through business opportunities unavailable to the working stiff. In spite of the fact that without the working stiff they’d be slinging burgers or working behind a register at Target.

So, given Ms. Vonn’s abuse of her notoriety the Winter Olympics has been added to my list of boycotted entities that includes teams, networks, sponsors, et al.

  2. I had never heard about her until this information surfaced. Big deal, she’s a skier. That and a dime will get you a cup of coffee in my mind.

  3. I will save the bitch some trouble. She need not bother with representing this American in Seoul. I always thought that the purpose of the Olympics was to allow the field of sport to remain politics free. Since she wants to bring politics onto that field, she can do so without my support.

  4. Who asked her that question in the first place? Someone from the MFSM? Since the Left wants to politicise everything…so be it. So while she ‘takes a knee’, I can ‘take a hike’ and not watch.

  5. Olympic athletes have always represented the country, not the politicians. Consequently, Vonn’s slap is gratuitous and idiotic. As far as I’m concerned, she should be cut and replaced.

    1. ^ What Quartermaster said.
What a fearless display of stupidity and ignorance! When did ANY Olympian represent a politician or a elected official? Until one of them wants to make a distinction, there is none. But now that there is a distinction, get her off the team…

  6. Too bad sportsters cannot just do their sport, and leave the agendas out, so we can enjoy. The black guy beside her says it all, at least concerning her ‘politics’…
