Like A Boss
I have no idea if this is true or not, could not find source, but it’s worth sharing just for the read.
This is one of the best stories we read in a long time. An arborist AKA a tree caretaker and tree surgeon from Redondo Beach, California had to watch the death of one of his favorite trees, which was ordered by the mayor. Although he lost a great battle, he won the war. Find out how he avenged the death of his 30-year-old pepper tree named Clyde.

Great story. Don’t know if it’s true, but great story all the same.
Don’t think it’s true. Although neither one of these sources is totally reliable, in this case I think they got it right. Still, it’s a good story.

Easy enough to verify….just check with the city of Redondo Beach and ask them if they have a bunch of redwood and Sequoia trees. They aren’t native to that area…..so if they exist this story has legs. If true the first response of most people is “ha ha, he got even”. But in reality the city officials he was seeking to retaliate against will not suffer in the least. Any costs incurred to deal with the issue will as always be borne by the long suffering INNOCENT taxpayer.
