Fighting The Good Fight
Cruz is a bastard, of that I have no doubt. But he’s our bastard. He fights the fights I want fought. Has he won many of these fights? No. Does that matter to me? No.
He’s a single freshman Senator swimming against the tide of his party. How exactly was he supposed to win? What he has spent his time in the Senate doing is preparing the battlefield. He’s laid down markers forcing people to take sides and identifying the terms of the battle. Keep Reading….

So Cruz is “just” a first term Senator. Remember back in 2008, the ass-wipe infesting the White House for the past 7-plus years was just a first term Senator, too. When he decided that he was going to run for President, he had only been in his first term for some 90 days, voting “present” most of the time. Cruz at least has not voted “present” at all (at least that I am aware of). And I doubt that Cruz will try to bullshit the American public as much as Mullah Obama has done over the past 7-plus years every time he opens his flapping mouth. Nor do I believe that Cruz will take a taxpayer-funded vacation and/or campaign fund raiser ever couple of weeks.
