Paul Ryan Channels His Inner Pelosi On ObamaTrade: The Public Will See It Once It’s Passed…
Chief Obamatrade proponent House Ways and Means Committee chairman Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) admitted during Congressional testimony on Wednesday evening that despite tons of claims from him and other Obamatrade supporters to the contrary, the process is highly secretive.
He also made a gaffe in his House Rules Committee testimony on par with former Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) push to pass Obamacare, in which she said infamously said: “we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.”
“It’s declassified and made public once it’s agreed to,” Ryan said of Obamatrade in Rules Committee testimony on Wednesday during questioning from Rep. Michael Burgess (R-TX).

I have sent comments to each Republican candidate in the Senate and told him that if he vote for it I will not vote for him for President. I also did the same for my Senators saying they will loose my vote in the next election.
Tim – Remember the good old days when you could actually debate a bill on it’s merits? Yeah me neither.
JeffG – How do we know whats going on? They won’t let the public see whats in it. Could be good, could be bad. But all the secrecy lends itself to bad.
I don’t know enough about the bill to know if I’m for it or against it, but I damn sure am against any elitist asshole that thinks he knows better than We the People what is good for us. The idea that a piece of legislation has to be kept secret from the American people who will be affected by it is appalling. I was a lukewarm Ryan supporter, but no more. As far as I’m concerned that wimpy little Pelosi-wanna-be can eat shit and die!
