As a further aside, the companies pulling their ads from O’Reilly were not doing it for economic reasons. The ratings were through the roof and few Americans care about who is playing grab ass with whom at the TV station. These companies were pulling their ads in order to curry favor with the Cult. In many cases, their management teams are infested with Progs and powerskirts too. It’s like a virus for which there is no known cure. It controls the host and will bring about its demise in order to promote the cause.

 

That’s the fate of Fox News. Rupert Murdoch was never a man of the Right. He was just a guy who loved tabloid news and was a genius at making money on modern media properties. His kids are Kool-Aid drinking Prog loonies, who will piss away the family fortune trying to buy status within the Cult of Modern Liberalism. As a result, Fox News will slowly be converted into a megaphone for the one true faith. We’ll sooner see a trans gender-fluid lesbian of color in prime time than another Bill O’Reilly type.

For my part I liked Bill for his talking points and his segments with Jesse Watters and Dennis Miller, other than that his show was pretty much the same as the others dependent on which side of center you’re on.

He did have one moment that should go down in history, his battle with infamous DC butt pirate Barney Frank on the housing bubble.

Bill O’Reilly has been excused from FOX News. He was accused of sexual harassment, he has apparently settled four previous cases, the last accusation seems pretty weak but whatever, he is gone. Apparently the Murdoch boys didn’t think backing their man was worthwhile…to bad.

So Ole Bill hit on some women and everyone is up in arms, the left is ecstatic. The hearts of liberals are filled with joy because the right’s poster boy had fallen.

Rush Limbaugh has been going over a story about tax reform and social security. I just caught some pieces but he was mentioning the idea of eliminating social security or it’s outdated, something along those lines.

Great! I’m all for it.

Send me a check for what you stole deducted from my pay check for the last 36 years and I’ll put it to work for my own retirement,  I can dump it in my own 401K and let it do it’s thing over the next 15 years of my working life. If I can shake out a minimal return annually I would almost double my money by the time I decide to call it a day.

Seems like a grand idea, where do I sign up? 

Of course this will never happen, social security is a scam that’s been pilfering off the middle class for decades with the promise of taking care of you in your old age. Take my advice, take care of your own retirement. You can’t stop your government from stealing from you and you can’t count on them taking care of you, they’re just giving you your money back at a diminished rate after the government parasites have moved it into whatever programs they see fit. It’s all a lie.

I keep hearing stories that Ivanka’s bleeding heart swayed PDT and somehow motivated his actions, if that is true, Trump needs to get his house in order. 

The images after the chemical attack in Syria are terrible and should make anyone with a heart saddened and there should be a reaction, a well thought out and careful examination of the all the players involved and an adequate response as determined by the experts.

Ivanka, a billionaires daughter is not an expert, I would prefer she keeps her calls to daddy about issues she may have some experience, I doubt she has her thumb on the pulse of the civil war in Syria. Emotions need to stay out of policy, that’s what we have liberals for.

Some Trumpsters have their panties in a wad over the Presidents air strikes in Syria, others are praising the military reaction to Assads use of chemical weapons on his own people. Personally I hope he can prove it was Assad, if not there could be hell to pay, but that’s the rub. We don’t know.

We all took Colin Powells word that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction, maybe he did, maybe he didn’t  he did, (* per a comment I would like to say that Saddam DID have WMD’s, I should have worded the previous sentence differently). Bush the Younger went to congress and the UN for support on military action giving Saddam time to move whatever weapons he may have had. Many said he moved them to Syria, who knows?

My point being nobody in the general public knows the evidence that was used by the President in his decision. I am sure as the weeks go by the information will come out. What Trump did do was not show his hand, he had his people condemn the chemical attacks but he didn’t tip off anyone there would be a military response, that is refreshing.

The possibility of getting bogged down in conflict with another middle eastern country is not something Trump should consider, and I don’t think he has any intentions to do so, his past comments on Syria show he wanted Syria to handle it’s own problems. That being said Trump had to do something, he did, it’s done, and that should be the end of it unless provoked again. The ball is in Syrias court.

So for now everyone needs to settle down, the information will come out and let the chips fall where they may. You don’t know the details nor do I, knee jerk reactions are for the fools on television who know as much as we do yet offer up “expert” opinions on something they know nothing about. If they hate Trump the story is his flip flopping on his previous stance regarding Syria, if they favor Trump it was a measured response, regardless somebody gassed women and children and that just cannot stand.

Lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way. Trump made a decision, what the hell did you expect him to do?
