If you make a small donation to a pro marriage group and you are a CEO, you are forced to resign, even though it was years ago.
If you made racists remarks decades ago, become a famous years later, and the remarks are brought to light, you are fired.

I understand the way of the world but this seems to have become a militant witch hunt for anyone who does not tow the PC line. I realize there are things you just can’t say anymore and I respect that, but where does it stop? How far will it go? At this writing I don’t see a ceiling, the PC police are becoming weaponized and at some point it will encroach on your constitutional rights.

Congrats New York, 4400 jobs shot to hell.

In a huge rejection of the United States’s corporate income tax rate – the highest in the world – America’s second-largest drug company, Pfizer, Inc., just proposed a merger with Britain’s AstraZeneca that would move the company away from New York’s combined 42.1% corporate rate and into the United Kingdom’s 20% rate.

Pfizer has been based in New York City since its founding in 1849.

But, but, the new business friendly tax free New York?

Ian Read, Pfizer’s Scottish-born Chief Executive, said that the proposed deal would let Pfizer eliminate “redundant functions” and overlapping operations. “Redundant functions” is business-speak for dumping staff at the New York corporate headquarters. The company already sold its 685 Third Avenue New York City office building in 2010 for $190 million. Currently, 4,400 employees are consolidated at the company’s world headquarters at 235 East 42nd Street, near Grand Central Terminal.

 

It’s the same game, just another generation. This couple is divorcing and splitting up assets paid for with dollars pulled out of Washington, your tax dollars hard at work. Indirectly or directly it comes from the same place, the American taxpayer.

Even before the tape machines could cool down the media were given copies to air across the country. Obviously Bundy spoke his mind and it wandered into the large politically correct cabinet of things you just can’t say. And Sterling is a sad wealthy old man who got screwed in more ways than one by the latest skankster he chose to trust.

The speed with which the Minority Machine whirred into national action also was suspect. The announcers and commentators couldn’t get the Korrekt denunciations outta their mouths fast enough. No one had context yet; no one really understood the background yet. But that didn’t stop the usual Lemming rush over each other to see who could denounce most convincingly and passionately the Racist America in which such Evil White Males still hold all the power, etc. And etc.

 

As Barry Boy hinted darkly, the U.S. is still full of Sterlings, thus there is Much More Still To Be Done before it’s safe for Minorities and Women (U.S. females also live under a state of Siege and War, doncha know!) to take their fair place in a nation that stands for freedom, equality, and civil rights blah lie blah.

 

Half-a-century of disenfranchising, degrading, and denouncing the Evil White Male is starting to show diminishing returns. The Economy isn’t thriving under Feminism and Diversity. Therefore it is time for the Evil White Males (preferably, very rich and public EWMs) to demonstrate directly to the Almighty People exactly how racist, misogynist, homophobic, LGBT-phobic, and etc. the nation truly is. Result: rationalizations for continued (and escalated) cultural and legal beat downs of the Evil White Male on a silver electronic platter.

As usual the latest brand of Republican is falling for the “Border Security” lie coming from democrats, and as Reagan found out, those promises will go unfulfilled. But a larger picture shows that greed and job security are a major influence on the GOP, more than any promises made in the dark.

Diaz-Balart, a major player in ongoing efforts to produce a bill that could balance Republican demands for border security with Democratic calls for legal status for the undocumented, said a solution is closer than ever.

“I think we finally have the policy right,” he said in a phone interview. “I think we have figured out a way to secure, to have border and interior security, holding the administration accountable for the enforcement … forcing the administration to enforce the law whether they want to or not. And adheres, strictly adheres, to the rule of law.

The reason, of course, is two fold. One is the Cult likes new citizens from authoritarian hell holes like those in South America. These little brown people don’t mind working in the field and living in tin shacks. More important, they never question the big man in the big house on the hill. Those rowdy white people from Northern Europe make bad subjects so the Democrats, the political wing of the CML, favor open borders.

The GOP, on the other hand, just likes being bribed. Boehner is stuffing his pockets with money from the Billionaire Boys Club to push amnesty. When all the rich people are for something, there’s no stopping it. They have no qualms about handing traitors like John Boehner their pieces of silver. To them, it is pocket change. For Boehner, it is an easy way to get rich. The mountain of evidence that it will destroy his political party will never overcome crass greed.

I have said all along that Bundy was a terrible interview and that as long as he continued to be interviewed eventually he was going to say something stupid. Right or wrong the issue was not Bundy, but a belief that the BLM should not military tactics and weaponry against other Americans. Now the left has their vengeance and they couldn’t be happier while they ignore the thieves in there own back yard.

In the 1970′s the political culture changed in America, but not everyone was seeing it. Nixon, who relied on the same political tactics used by both parties through most of the 20th century found himself standing on shifting ground. Johnson and Kennedy, after all, played dirty tricks and used the power of their office to help their election chances. Kennedy beat Nixon because the Illinois Democratic machine rigged the election. Johnson got started by gaming local elections in Texas. Then all of a sudden the rules no longer applied to Nixon and he was hounded from office. The press was not going to merely be an observer of the battles. They were now part of the fight. Ever since it has been axiomatic that the press is liberal and has different rules for covering Republicans and Democrats.

 

That’s just one type of abuse. You also have organizations busing around bums and Latinos to vote at multiple locations. In 2012, I saw a bus pull up at my polling place. It was full of Mexicans, not a one speaking English. A gal in a purple shirt gave them instructions in Spanish and they marched into the polling place. My bet is there were a lot of people voting from the grave. The Cult cross-checked the death certificates with the voter rolls and suddenly they have thousands of new votes wherever they need them. This is nothing new, of course. Liberal Democrats have been stuffing the ballot box since the 19th century. Today they have better data and better tools to do it. Still, the outright contempt for the idea of self-governance is what’s appalling.

 

When you look at the serial abuses from the Obama administration that the press shrugs at now, it is fair to say the ground has shifted once again. Instead of ritualized combat between citizens, who agree on the big issues, American politics is looking more like a gang fight. There are no rules, just what you can get away with. Whatever respect the ruling class had for the institutions of the republic is now gone. Anything goes. In an increasingly feudal society, the old feudal customs are making a comeback.
