Cantors Choice

Cantors Choice

“Where else would these kids go? Again, they’ve been brought here as a minor in many instances having no idea what was going on, knowing no other place than America as home,” Cantor said during a press conference last July.

His position tugs at the heart strings, but where does it end? Obviously if you look at the influx of illegal minors, it doesn’t stop. That’s the crux of the issue, until you stop the crossings you will never solve the problem. The only thing Cantor did was stoke the fire with his amicable position. Now look. They are still here and he is gone….poetic justice…. but they are STILL HERE!

Obama Whines About Guns

Obama Whines About Guns

“We’re the only developed country” where this happens, Obama said. “There’s no place else like this.”

Gun violence in America is “off the charts.”

Not sure where he is getting his information but gun violence happens in ALL developed countries. The difference is, Americans have the option to protect themselves against guns with guns. Theft, rape, robberies, and murders would all rise exponentially if we didn’t have the right to bear arms.

The Government’s latest crime figures were condemned as “truly terrible” by the Tories today as it emerged that gun crime in England and Wales soared by 35% last year. Criminals used handguns in 46% more offences, Home Office statistics revealed.

Firearms were used in 9,974 recorded crimes in the 12 months to last April, up from 7,362. Figures showed the number of crimes involving handguns had more than doubled since the post-Dunblane massacre ban on the weapons, from 2,636 in 1997-1998 to 5,871.

To those who say it’s not guns, it’s mental health: “The United States does not have a monopoly on crazy people.”

I beg to differ, a bunch of crazies elected you twice.

Obama Loves Being President….

Obama Loves Being President….

….but is completely unqualified to be one. It becomes painfully obvious by the day.

Where are we now, June 6, 2014? We have a malevolent president; I can no longer call him inept and incompetent. He is malevolent. He is out to destroy the spirit that built and sustained the country, as was evident on the beaches and along the hedgerows of Normandy seventy years ago. He detests our military and makes no effort to hide that. His recent speech at West Point, of course, is either an example of how little this little man understands his role as Commander-in-Chief, or is the product of an ideology that hates the cadets and their values–I go with the second interpretation. He and his misadministration have abused our laws, our military, and our veterans and never spared an occasion to insult or degrade them and their ethos. The latest and most grotesque example being the “rescue” of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl; “rescue” is, of course, the wrong word. Obama swapped five murdering Taliban leaders for a man who had defected to the Taliban, converted to Islam, wanted to give up his US citizenship, and got several of his comrades killed in operations looking for him. We traded terrorists for a traitor. Nice job. keep reading

Sad But True

Sad But True

The traditional male lead has been fading for years. Movie tough guys are long gone. Instead we get cartoon characters like Batman or Spiderman. Then you have the cartoonish guys like Hugh Jackman. Otherwise, male leads are funny self-effacing lesbians with a dick.

The Tipping Point

The Tipping Point

“Good will always prevail, but there is no limit to the amount of suffering that will be required for that victory to occur. If men stand up early on, the suffering will be minimized because it will be spread over many people. The worst that might happen is that some folks go to bed scared for a while, but widespread bravery will allow good to prevail without much suffering. If, however, there is a decided lack of courage displayed by a large group or society early on in an advance by the powers of evil, that aggregated courage requirement will be borne by a relative few at a later time. The longer this goes on, the worse it will be for the few who have to bear the weight of the cowardice of the broad society.”

I am afraid we have passed the tipping point where the few will have to deal with the apathy of the people of this once great country.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. – Edmund Burke
