I have friends who have never held a gun. I have friends who truly believe that owning gun will cause the owner to murder people. There are a lot of people in New England who think guns should be banned and the police should go door to door making sure no one has a gun. I know a few of them. A lot of the anti-gun sentiment is simply mindless hysteria, but a big driver is culture. Guns are now associated with downscale whites who hunt and shop at WalMart. Guns are southern, like Christianity and NASCAR. Odds are, most of Connecticut is happy that Gun Valley is moving south.

 

 But what strikes me about the gun issue is that people are actually moving around the country to get away from those with whom they no longer agree. We are physically self-segregating on the national level.

 

Again, perhaps it has always been so, but it sure feels like we are coming unglued. If Texas broke away, I’d probably move there and become a Texan, rather than American. The same is true of the Old South. If New England decided to join Canada as a province, I’d shrug and wish them the best. It’s not that I’m rooting for it. Diversity, what a liberal concept.

“It appears to have completely passed them by that this danger is the direct result of the government’s open border immigration policies and the only proposal they have to counter this threat is to remove what individual liberties the British people have left, supposedly for their own protection.

Despite being armed with the knowledge that Muslims must dominate all other people and will never integrate into any non-Muslim society, the government went ahead and opened the borders to tens of thousands of third world Muslim immigrants, regardless of the danger and against the express wishes of the British people.

Such was their commitment to the cultural replacement agenda and their determination to impose a so called ‘multi-cultural society’, they bullied, threatened and demonised anyone who had the temerity to even question their actions.

The threats to peace and security that we are witnessing today from the Muslim community is the direct result of an out of control political class, ignoring the interests and wishes of the British people in favour of imposing their own cultural replacement agenda.

In an act of jaw dropping stupidity the government are proposing to cancel the passports of Muslims joining the jihad in Syria, Iraq and Somalia while at the same time handing them out like confetti to others newly arriving by the boatload.” keep reading

Sound familiar? Our border issues may be different, but they are the same in the context of losing American freedoms to accommodate tens of thousands of illegals.

“It must be noted that the majority of the normally tolerant British people have been pushed into uncharacteristic dislike of another ethnic group by the relentless pressure on them by their government to accept a community of people whose practices are barbaric and with whom they have nothing in common.

Their continual demands that the British people change their way of life to accommodate them and their medieval death cult, combined with threats from the government if they resist, is engendering a loathing of Muslims that would not be there had their numbers been controlled and they had made at least some attempt at integration.

As it stands now it is hoped that as many British documented Muslims as possible follow their instincts and head to Syria and set up their Caliphate –  we will take it from there when they try to spread it to Great Britain.”

A letter destined to go unanswered and another reason to close our borders.

Sgt. Brandon Mendoza was killed in a head-on collision with a driver who was going the wrong way on the road.  That driver was an illegal immigrant who had been convicted of multiple crimes yet was not deported and was allowed to stay in the US.  tumblr_inline_n8k3qir0CQ1qij8k6

Now, Sgt. Mendoza’s mother has written a letter to President Obama asking why his administration isn’t following the law and deporting illegal aliens, especially those convicted of crimes.

Here’s her letter:

President Obama,

“I am writing this letter to you regarding illegal immigrants.

“As a tax paying, law abiding citizen of the United States, I WANT my voice heard on this issue. My son, Sergeant Brandon Mendoza, an officer who was with the City of Mesa, Arizona police department, was killed in a tragic head on collision on May 12, 2014 by a wrong way driver on our freeways. This man happened to be an illegal immigrant, was in this country illegally, convicted of previous crimes, no Social Security number, no valid driver’s license BUT he had purchased a vehicle and registered it to drive in Maricopa County Arizona.

An intellectual is a theory maker. Intellectuals sit on their front porches cutting, sewing, patching; mending theories… An intellectual substitutes for the intractable bloody mess called reality a seamless silken tapestry of pure ideas. 

All thinkers use abstraction and invent theories; inventing theories is thinking. But a theory must be transparent and flexible to be any good. When facts change or new facts emerge, the theory must be adjusted or, if need be, thrown out. An effective thinker cares passionately about theories and abstractions but is obsessed with reality, keeps his eye on the ball, never loses sight of the facts. 

More precisely: most intellectuals are intelligent, but their insistence on peering at the world through cotton-candy theories means that, smart as they might be, they are (unfortunately) predisposed to beliefs that are silly and false.

Thinkers, writers, scholars and scientists “hunger for concrete detail.” But to an intellectual, details are annoyances. The author uses the example of a theory that all roses are yellow and the responses of thinkers and intellectuals when shown a pink rose.  An effective thinker will say, “I conclude that my theory must be wrong.”  An intellectual will say, “I conclude that this isn’t a rose.” When confronted by a reality that refutes some elegant theory the intellectual finds a dodge.

Barack Obama and his generation of Airheads, the first ever coming of age after the cultural revolution, are unique in American history. All former leftist movements were driven by ideology. Obama’s is driven by ignorance…

He is important not because he is exceptional; he represents the post-cultural evolution of the PORGI elite…

Obama himself will go away like a bad cold, but there are many more where he comes from. Nowadays a new generation of Obamacrats enters the American bloodstream every year, in late spring, when fresh college graduates scatter like eager little birds or puffs of dandelion seed to deliver a new crop of Airhead left-wingery to the nation and the world…

That is why we take it for granted that any potential president just knows them. (Obama majored in political science.)   And that, in turn, is why it is so difficult to grasp the truth about Obama. But he has so often spoken and acted is if he doesn’t know what he is doing, hasn’t mastered the minimum job requirements that at last we have to face the truth. The man does not know enough to be president…

That conclusion points to another, even more alarming. Obama graduated from some of the best law schools in America: Columbia and Harvard Law.

He isn’t especially ignorant. He is only the leading citizen of an ignorant generation. What does that say about our schools? About America in general?             keep reading
