Californication

Californication

Back in the ’80s I was working in Colorado, I traveled back and forth to my home state on the weekends and I kept seeing these signs that said “Stop Californicating Colorado”. At the time I had no idea what the hell it meant. Fast forward 30 plus years and now I understand.

coloradobumperst_zps1f37ce34

Californians were either relocating or buying summer homes/estates/ranches for great prices in western states compared to the bloated real estate and oppressive taxes in Cali. Sates like Oregon, Wyoming, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and Nevada were being inundated with Californians and their liberal beliefs. They could sell their homes back in Cali for hundreds of thousands and buy bigger places with more land for a fraction of the costs of a replacement home in California, don’t blame them, but they brought their liberal beliefs with them.pipestone

With Colorado going up in smoke, (pun intended), it should not surprise you what drastic things can happen in a short 30 years, and with democrat controlled states deteriorating don’t be shocked when the citizens of those failed states start showing up as your new neighbor, I already have one from New Jersey. Texas your next. colorado_sucks_bumper_sticker_bumper_bumper_sticker

Just Another Liberal Battle

Just Another Liberal Battle

All of the bitching about a minority groups injustice is just another battle the liberals are trying to stir up and they are doing a fine job of it. But this issue is just another skirmish in the larger war…..a war we will win. It may not be pretty, but it will be won. The only question at what cost.

Above all else, maintain your own values and your own sense of self-worth in this conflict. The left cannot win until it has destroyed your morale. To win this war, it has to finish the job of breaking the society by destroying any sources of resistance that might coalesce into a new organization.

That is why it was so threatened by the Tea Party. That is why it is so obsessed with destroying and controlling decentralized religious groups. The remnants of the establishment are no threat to it. The Republican Party and mainstream leaders don’t even know there’s a war on. They’ve already lost. Keep Reading…..

The Militant 2%

The Militant 2%

I was waiting for all of this Indiana RFRA crap to blow over, obviously it’s gaining ground, not going away.

The gay rights crowd has managed to become the PC group of the decade and with every CEO who steps down they grow stronger. At some point common sense needs to be applied to this argument.

1. Any gay person or couple can go to another business that would be happy to do work with them.

2. All Americans have rights, it goes both ways.

3. If a Muslim went into a gay florist and demanded they be waited on by a straight person because Islam does not believe in homosexuality, who’s rights have been violated?

Gays can go anywhere, anytime and can find gay friendly business. This is not about rights being violated, this is about the gay community making demands on people who don’t believe the way that they do. Instead of understanding the other side, they demand the other side agree with them or be ran out of business. It’s their way or the highway, which is the way of the liberal left, and since they have the power of the media and Democrats at their whim, they have gone militant.

Until we throw political correctness out the window and stand up for conservative principles, this idiocy will continue. The easy answer is this, if you want to be gay, be gay, just stop the demands. If it weren’t for the gay militancy, Indiana would not have to make a law in the first place.

The Light

The Light

When a politician has the balls to say something so politically incorrect that it scares the be-jesus out of the enemy, maybe that politician should be taken seriously……..

Convicted in 1978 on trumped-up charges of treason and spying for the United States, Sharansky was sentenced to 13 years in prison. After years in the Siberian gulag, he was released in a U.S.-Soviet prisoner exchange in 1986 and moved to Israel.

“I have to laugh. People who take freedom for granted, Ronald Reagan for granted, always ask such questions. Of course! It was the great brilliant moment when we learned that Ronald Reagan had proclaimed the Soviet Union an Evil Empire before the entire world. There was a long list of all the Western leaders who had lined up to condemn the evil Reagan for daring to call the great Soviet Union an evil empire right next to the front-page story about this dangerous, terrible man who wanted to take the world back to the dark days of the Cold War. This was the moment. It was the brightest, most glorious day. Finally a spade had been called a spade. Finally, Orwell’s Newspeak was dead. President Reagan had from that moment made it impossible for anyone in the West to continue closing their eyes to the real nature of the Soviet Union.”  _ Natan Sharansky   Keep reading……

Lessons Of History Ignored

Lessons Of History Ignored

Thirty years ago Reagan agreed to amnesty under the assumption democrats would honor their promises, they did not.

In 1986 I voted for the Simpson-Mazzoli immigration bill because we were told it would solve the problem of massive illegal immigration. In his diaries, President Ronald Reagan said he was going to sign the bill because we had to regain control of our borders. The Simpson-Mazzoli bill contained three promises:

  1. The government would make a concerted effort to control the borders.
  2. An effective employer verification program would ensure that only legal workers were hired.
  3. One-time amnesty would be granted for people illegally in the United States.

All three promises were broken. The government has made no serious effort to control our borders. Employers continue knowingly to hire illegal immigrants without any real fear of punishment. Source: Real Change, by Newt Gingrich, p.126 , Dec 18, 2007

Believing that government would adhere to their promise wasn’t the big mistake. The biggie was believing the numbers.

The most important lesson from that last amnesty is that the numbers presented by the government will be wildly underestimated. When it was passed, the pols said the high number for amnesty was a million. It turned out to be 3.2 million. This was not due to deception. It was ignorance. The people writing these bills rely on lobbyists who lie on spec. Just listen to the current presidential candidates talk and it is clear they don’t know the first thing about the topic.

The easy thing to do is look at the last amnesty. If they were off by a factor of three the last time, we’re looking at close to 25 million this time. The last time they based the one million figure on total illegal population, not just those working. That means the 25 million could very well be a low estimate as well.

My own sense is Bush will collude with Boehner and McConnell to pass an amnesty of some sort. They will have to couch it in different terms and tart it up with phoney-baloney enforcement language. The result will be the same. We will see 30-40 million foreigners handed citizenship papers by the end of the decade.

You better get working on your Spanish, esé. Keep Reading….

All You Need To Know

All You Need To Know

This is an establishment RHINO piece of shit talking about you!

Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) on Friday said his staff have been abused by vulgar fans of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) who have made “adolescent” calls to his office.“Clearly, Cruz has many decent and honorable supporters,” King argued. “At the same time, though, we must ask why he has such an unusual appeal to this low denominator in American politics.” Keep Reading…

You have just been called the lowest denominator. He is supposed to be on our team. Now you know what they really think about us.

obama-bergdahl (1)
Army officials said in a statement that Bergdahl has been charged with desertion with intent to shirk important or hazardous duty and misbehavior before the enemy by endangering the safety of a command, unit or place. …

Under the misbehavior-before-the-enemy charge, Bergdahl faces a maximum punishment of confinement for life, a dishonorable discharge, a reduction to private and total forfeiture of pay and allowances since the time of his disappearance, Army officials said. The desertion charge carries a maximum punishment of five years in prison, a dishonorable discharge, a reduction to private and a total forfeiture of pay and allowances.

Desertion has historically been punishable by death, but the Army will not pursue that in Bergdahl’s case.
