CAIR Sues Michigan For Improper Prison Diet For Muslims
A federal lawsuit was filed today against the Michigan Department of Corrections, alleging several Muslim inmates aren’t getting enough “nutritional” food during the month-long fast of Ramadan and are being forced to eat foods that violate their religious beliefs.
The lawsuit, filed by the Michigan chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MI), is challenging a policy that it claims requires Muslim inmates to sacrifice an adequate diet when they participate in the Ramadan fast. The suit also challenges a policy that prevents Muslims from maintaining a religiously-mandated —or halal — diet. Halal is a term used to designate food seen as permissible according to Islamic teachings. Under the halal food diet, pork and pork-based food products are forbidden, an addition to all meat that is not slaughtered and prepared in accordance with Islamic law.
The lawsuit claims that the MDOC has refused to provide Muslim inmates with a halal diet, “despite repeated requests.” As a result, Muslim inmates have been forced to “violate their sincerely-held religious beliefs by eating foods that violate the restrictions of the halal food diet,” according to the lawsuit.
Umm….tough shit.
If you are in prison, you have vacated your rights you may have had while free. This may not be the law, but it should be. Of course I am sure someone will cave out of fear of being politically incorrect.

If our borders are more secure than ever before, why don’t we know who is here? Homeland Security is just another federal boondoggle and waste. How did they help Boston? This department did not exist 12 years ago.
Much like Pelosi’s famous words “we need to pass Obamacare to know what’s in it”, apparently we need to pass amnesty to find out who is here.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) argued Tuesday that immigration reform would enhance the nation’s security as he sought to prevent concerns raised by the Boston bombings from derailing the bipartisan legislation.
“Under the status quo, we do not know who is here and might be intending to do us harm,” Reid wrote in a letter to Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.).
“The bipartisan immigration reform proposal introduced last week would enable us to identify and perform criminal background and national security checks on immigrants who are here unlawfully,” he wrote.
Total Bullshit!! Give them amnesty, there are another 20 million ready to come here illegally. Politicians are idiots.

Kind of sums up the state of gun control.
FBI, Homeland Security, ICE, or some federal agency screwed up when one of the Boston bombers was missed on a terrorist watch list. But from what we hear, they did a great job tracking them down after murdering 4 and injuring over 150.
Isn’t this the same a having all of these gun control measures in place, but because of bureaucratic bumbling, the only way they will be effective is after the shooting.

Liberal Ploy So Apparent Yet Stifles GOP
I have been saying this for years. Liberals have employed a set of tactics that the media drives and freaks out Republicans, they just don’t know how to handle being “labeled” even if the label is complete and utter bullshit.
Economics? Disagree with welfare, and you’re full of hate and intolerance towards the poor. Social issues? Disagree with the left on abortion or gay marriage, and you don’t like women or gays. Foreign policy? Disagree on foreign policy, and you hate Muslims, Palestinians, and the poor in less fortunate countries. Second Amendment? If you support gun rights, then you have a cold and callous view towards the victims of gun violence. Affirmative action? If you disagree with affirmative action, then you’re a racist. Unions? Disagree with them, and you despise working-class Americans.
The offended attitude ploy has become stifling. The left has brainwashed thousands of people across the country into seeking out chances to be offended. Meanwhile, these same people who act hysterically offended by a differing political view will pay $90 to attend a comedy show, laughing the hardest of anyone at the comedian’s racist, misogynist, and obscene jokes. This is evidence they’re not really offended by those who merely harbor different political positions on issues.
