Half Of Senate Leaves Before NSA Briefing…Really?

Half Of Senate Leaves Before NSA Briefing…Really?

So this is where we are, politicians that are the peoples voice, charged with your best interests in mind, don’t bother to show up for infringements on your privacy. Find out who did not attend, and vote them out. This is unforgivable!

Less than half (47) of US Senators attended a classified briefing on Thursday afternoon, instead choosing to head home for the weekend.  The briefing was with “with James Clapper, the Director of National Intelligence, Keith Alexander, the head of the National Security Agency (NSA), and other officials.”

Wow.

The last vote in the Senate was on Thursday around noon, so our elected officials chose to take advantage of the early weekend and leave town.  ”Only 47 of 100 senators attended the 2:30 briefing, leaving dozens of chairs in the secure meeting room empty as Clapper, Alexander and other senior officials told lawmakers about classified programs to monitor millions of telephone calls and broad swaths of Internet activity.”

So your precious leaders could not find time for this? Wake up kids.

Obama Regime Ignores The Majority…Ships Weapons To Syria

Obama Regime Ignores The Majority…Ships Weapons To Syria

So I guess it does not matter that a majority of Americans do not want the United States involved in this mess, and specifically giving weapons to terrorists. They can’t track guns given to the Mexican cartels in Fast & Furious, how the hell can they say with a straight face they will know who gets the weapons in Syria. I can’t tell you how pissed off I am right now. IT IS NOT OUR JOB TO SECURE SYRIA!!!

Feds To Get 130 Billion In Penalties With Obamacare

Feds To Get 130 Billion In Penalties With Obamacare

And who gets hurt in this? Small business. Freaking insane.

The federal government is set to pick up $130 billion in penalties over the next decade from companies once Obamacare kicks in, according to estimates provided by the government. Those penalties will land on companies that either don’t provide employees health insurance or what the government considers to be “inadequate” health insurance.

Here’s how it works. If you’re a company with 50 or more full-time employees, and one of your employees is spotted getting a tax credit for coverage in a state-based health insurance exchange, you’ll pay $2,000 per employee past 30. In other words, if just one of your workers receives a tax credit, you’ll shell out $40,000 minimum. The fine maxes out at $140,000 for a company with 100 employees in 2014.

If any policy offered by the company amounts to more than 9.5% of an employee’s income, the company has to pay $3,000 for that employee.

The goal of all of this is to leverage employers into paying for health insurance. The Associated Press foolishly reports, “Initially there was widespread speculation that many employers would drop coverage and opt to pay the fines instead, but that talk seems to have died down.” Instead, employers will likely dump full time employees if they’re near that 50-employee bubble.

CAIR Wants Texas To Be Like Somalia or Egypt

CAIR Wants Texas To Be Like Somalia or Egypt

Dallas CAIR Director: “Muslims Are Above the Law of the Land.”
A Council on American-Islamic Relations leader told a crowd at a rally for Islam that members of the faith should not be bound by American law.

“If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land,” said Mustafa Carroll, executive director of the Dallas-Fort Worth CAIR branch.

The rally in Austin was part of a nationwide effort to hold “Muslim Capitol Day” events. The event included a speech by a representative of Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam, who declared that Texas was an awful place and that Islam was the answer.
“Why did Muhammad say that he would not rest until the Koran was the law of the land?”
“Islam does not have Texas in the current condition, the current socio-political condition that Texas is in. What is this condition that Texas is in? Why is Texas on the brink, when you look at Texas in comparison to 50 states, education, percent of population graduating from high school is 46, high school completion rate is 46, the scholastic assessment rate, the SAT score in Texas is 47, the percentage of population with no health insurance in Texas is first, those without health insurance Texas is first. When you look at the state of a child in Texas, the percentage of uninsured children, Texas is first… etc etc

You shouldn’t be filing legislation against Islam, when you look at Texas, Islam is not the problem. Islam is the solution. Allah Akbar.

Clearly when we look at the literacy rates and health insurance rates in the Muslim world, we cannot help but see that Islam is the answer. That is assuming the question is how can we make Texas more like Somalia or Egypt.

Herman Mustafa Carroll had defended terrorists, perhaps on the same theory that Muslims are superior to the law of the land. I think you can only blame Hamas for so long. It takes two to tango. And I think, you know, that what we’ve heard for a number of years is this terrorist, terrorist, terrorist, terrorist, Hamas, Hamas, Hamas, was not just Hamas.”
“Look at the true cause of the terrorism. It’s not somebody is reading a book, reading a Quran, and then go out and say, ‘Well, the Quran told me to blow this up. I’m gonna blow it up.’ The cause, the root cause of terrorism is oppression. The root cause of terrorism is oppression.”

Oddly quite a few terrorists seem to read that book and blow people up. Others read the book and declare that Muslims are above the law of the land. I don’t think I would push Texans to far, keep poking the bear and…….

Closing The Barn Door After The Horse Is Out

Closing The Barn Door After The Horse Is Out

Amnesty. Our elected officials are in the process of destroying what is left of this country. If they do get amnesty passed, (which I think will happen), kiss the American way of life as you remember it goodbye.

I have heard all of the blathering about compassion and bringing this part of the population out of the shadows because these poor people can’t do anything out of fear of deportation. Well, yeah, that’s the point when you break the law, which is exactly what these people in the shadows have done. Why should I have compassion for an illegal act. They crossed in whatever fashion in the shadows knowing that this activity is against the laws of the land. As much as I don’t like Obamacare it will be the law of the land. If I don’t pay a fine or buy health insurance, I can go to jail. So why should 20 million illegals get a free pass?

Make no mistake here, these people will go on the welfare roles, have as many kids possible for anchor babies, put them in our schools, get on Obamacare, Medicare, Medicaid, and not pay their share to cover the costs. I work with them, I have seen how they scam the system, if you think e-verify works think again. It is well known where to get a social security card to bypass e-verify. There is a huge black market in SS numbers and if they get caught, they go under a different name and get a new number. Have you been to an emergency room lately? Have you stood in line at your local market and watched a woman from south of the border somewhere, with up to five or six kids paying with an EBT card? Have you watched your local news and took notice of how many criminal acts were committed by someone with a mexican name?

You can say that I am profiling a group of people and that they all act the same, not at all. I am sure that there are many here legally and only want to be Americans and left alone, unfortunately it is not one or two bad apples that are spoiling the lot, it is the other way around. Peaceful law abiding Mexicans seem to be the exception not the rule.

So why the push for amnesty? Why would Obama and his minions be pushing so hard?  Easy answer, votes.
When amnesty is established, Democrats just gained 20 million voters. Don’t you think  that the illegals will be loyal to the party that just gave them a free pass to the land of milk and honey? And Republicans are jumping on board because they want to show the Spanish population that they too understand their plight, and would love to get a few million voting GOP, because some jackass said Romney lost the election because he could not curry favor with the Spanish voters. Bullshit. When you have to go against your constituency to garner votes you have given up your principles and are not worthy to speak for us.

To say that any politician will be held liable for voting for amnesty is ridiculous, the horse has left the barn at that point. You can’t undo amnesty, 20 million people just became legal and so you elect a politician to replace the one that voted “yay”? So what, you just handed the keys to the country to the Democrats and you won’t get it back for decades. And what is sad, if you look at Detroit, Chicago, or Sacramento, when you have Democrats in charge for any length of time, they destroy the city. So I don’t know that America can survive decades of Democratic control, even if Republicans control congress, we can see with this vote that they don’t care about conservative American values, they care about power.

So wake up kids, this is important! Contact your congressman and senators and scream “Hell No” on amnesty. I just did, It’s all I can do at this point.

Syrian Refugees To America – NO

Syrian Refugees To America – NO

America already has a problem with a certain religion that seems to want to kill other people for their beliefs, so why bring more into the country. We did not start their war, we did not cause the uprising, why should we take people who voted the current regime into power. They made their bed, deal with it. We are dealing with our own mistake, (see Obama re-elected 2012).

A Nod to Weasel Zippers for the heads up.

WASHINGTON — Two years into a civil war that shows no signs of ending, the Obama administration is considering resettling refugees who have fled Syria, part of an international effort that could bring thousands of Syrians to American cities and towns.

A resettlement plan under discussion in Washington and other capitals is aimed at relieving pressure on Middle Eastern countries straining to support 1.6 million refugees, as well as assisting hard-hit Syrian families.

The State Department is “ready to consider the idea,” an official from the department said, if the administration receives a formal request from the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Refugees, which is the usual procedure.

The United States usually accepts about half the refugees that the U.N. agency proposes for resettlement. California has historically taken the largest share, but Illinois, Florida, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia are also popular destinations.

U.N. refugee officials, diplomats and nongovernmental relief groups plan to discuss possible resettlement schemes at a high-level meeting this week in Geneva. Germany already has committed to taking 5,000 people.

“It was probably inevitable that in this crisis, with these overwhelming numbers, governments would start moving in this direction,” said Lavinia Limon, chief executive officer of the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, a Virginia-based advocacy and service group. “But there will be resistance.”
