It’s why the new class is in such a panic over the rise of populist movements in the West and willing to use totalitarian means to suppress them. From their perspective, these forces are a threat to democracy, because they are the democracy. The new class, this consolidating class of people at the top of politics, administration, finance, business and the law, are the indispensable class. Without them, there is no democracy, because there is no one to structure your life so you can reach your fullest potential.

It’s also why they are prone to blaming the super natural for observable phenomenon like racial inequality or the differences in the sexes. When you eliminate the natural explanations for why blacks have different life outcomes than whites, then you are left with the supernatural. White privilege is just another way of blaming bad juju. The same is true of “gun violence” which shifts agency from the trigger puller to the object. These various bogeymen become an explanation and a rallying cry for the new class.   Keep reading….

In other words, while humans who in a state of nature tend to reward the strong, government rewards the weak because they are tractable and pliable, and this in turn kills off the strong. Government is the enemy of Darwin and of qualitative improvement, which makes sense because the government model is mass mobilization of idiots, not having exceptional people.

We must ask, then, when our government went down the path of ideology. Luckily, the answer does not take long to ascertain: during the Civil War, government decided to move from natural rights — the idea that government could not impede your enjoyment of the same independence you experience in nature — to civil rights, in which government must enforce equality upon its population.   Keep reading….

Ocasio-Cortez cites video from guy who was her former spokesperson. But if you listen to the video, it’s pretty clear that it wasn’t boos as she claims but groans when she voted for Pelosi. The only people who care whether she votes for Pelosi are people on the left who thought she might vote for someone else, not Republicans. Republicans love that she voted for Pelosi because it shows she’s not the change-agent she claims to be.

Her spokesperson is trying to cast it as “boos by Republicans” to cover that it makes people on the left unhappy. See clip here…

Every liberal media outlet is celebrating the election of two Muslim women to Congress — Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan. Since they both wear the traditional hijab, Nancy Pelosi will move to repeal a 180-year rule prohibiting head coverings on the floor of Congress.

Having escaped war-torn Somalia to come to America, was she grateful to live in a nation of peace and prosperity? No. She says upon arrival in America, she was confronted with “my otherness” as a Muslim and black. She and her family were granted asylum, and her first impression is the “otherness” she feels? She is exactly the kind of immigrant we do not need — a perfect ingrate.

She should have failed her citizenship test. In America, it is up to each individual to make the most of our gifts and abilities.  Our Constitution secures our God-given freedom and fundamental rights. No one is “guaranteed” prosperity.

According to the New York Times, Omar “concluded that [America] was not the golden land that she had heard about.” Sorry we disappointed her. If America is not “golden” enough for her, she can return to the Somali hell from which she escaped. I remind her, Nancy Pelosi and the women of Congress that Islamic law enslaves women in a system of beating, rape, genital mutilation, honor killings and denial of education.   Keep reading……
