Just when you were celebrating the fact HHS head Kathleen Sibelius is gone we find out the replacement.
Welcome the one woman who personally shut down the government at Obama’s behest. Yes, she closed ALL the parks, panda cam, Yellowstone,…etc: This is the new HHS boss. No more fines for Obamacare, this one may shoot.
The Key Word: Unelected Official
Not a congressman, but an unelected woman named Sylvia Burwell who, as the relatively new director of the Office of Management and Budget, sent the email that initiated the process that has closed national parks, visitors’ centers and even the “panda-cam” at the National Zoo.
“Agencies should now execute plans for an orderly shutdown due to the absence of appropriations,” Burwell wrote in a memo to heads of executive departments and agencies Monday night as it became clear lawmakers had failed to agree on a budget deal. “We urge Congress to act quickly to pass a Continuing Resolution to provide a short-term bridge that ensures sufficient time to pass a budget for the remainder of the fiscal year.” more here

If I’m not mistaken, isn’t she the one who closed all the national parks and veterans memorials during the government shut-down last fall? If she is, is she going to take Sibelius’ place in the Oval Office as The Ayatollah Obama’s Monica?
You’re right, Woodsterman. Each liberal does have the backs of other liberals. But they also have the backs of conservatives, too. But they are using those backs for inserting their knives.
