Many years ago I was in the Scottish outer Hebridies and stayed at a place where they trained them. What a cool experience. Whistle commands were the only thing the,trainers used and the dogs instinctively knew what to do and how to herd the flock of sheep. Amazing!
Unfortunately, I couldn’t bring one back to the States.
Toejam – I kinda thought where you were located you may have seen some great dogs. We have the US sheep dog competition here about 10 miles from where I live. Gonna have to check it out.
