Fair & Balanced
Stealing a slogan but I saw this over at Theo Spark.
I posted pics of the soldiers that hid their faces, I did so because I don’t want to get into the Syrian conflict, and anybody feeling the same way, I will post it.
But then again, this is why we have a kick ass military. All I can say is I see both points of view. Yeah squishy I know.

I could get all nit-picky and say our military isn’t obligated to obey illegal/unconstitutional orders. I could also point out that the ones hiding their faces are merely exercising their 1st Amendment rights (even though there are restrictions on those rights while they’re in uniform).
But I must say I respect the one you showed for not hiding his face. And you’re not being squishy, you’re being fair and balanced by presenting both sides of a complex and confusing situation.
Something we need more of, not less…
Tim – A bit of a hot topic which I am still trying to wrap my head around. Sad when our troops are trying to do the same thing. I can understand their apprehension and sense of obligation.
Strange days indeed.
