Santorum To Eliminate Internet Porn
Oh no you don’t! Leave my ladies alone!
Internet pornography could conceivably become a thing of the past if Rick Santorum is elected president.
The unapologetic social conservative, currently in second place behind Mitt Romney for the GOP nomination, has promised to crack down on the distribution of pornography if elected.
Santorum says in a statement posted to his website, “The Obama Administration has turned a blind eye to those who wish to preserve our culture from the scourge of pornography and has refused to enforce obscenity laws.”
If elected, he promises to “vigorously” enforce laws that “prohibit distribution of hardcore (obscene) pornography on the Internet, on cable/satellite TV, on hotel/motel TV, in retail shops and through the mail or by common carrier.”

I am a college professor. My field is Information Systems (IS). One of the courses I teach is the intro to IS for business majors. One of the topics of that course is the history and growth of the Internet. Most of my students are surprised to hear that the ‘Nets’ development and growth has been driven primarily by pornography.
For a rebuttal to Santorum check this out.

Sorry for the late reply, golf courses and such. I was brought up in the 60’s and 70’s and porn was a magazine, (well read I might add), but internet porn is simply whatever anyone want’s it to be. I don’t like anybody messing with my fun. Child porn should be outlawed, and from what I saw in the article you linked, it has been to some extent. Thanks for the comment. You da man!
