Republican Establishment
All of these RHINOs complaining about the Tea Party just makes me believe that The Tea Party is a wonderful thing. First considered a conservative branch of the GOP I can see that they are getting worried. The unspoken “go along to get along” mantra that has thrived in a corrupt system is being challenged and they are freaking out.
Karl (Whiteboard) Rove and his PAC can back whomever they choose, anybody other than another liberal in office is a good thing. But the fact that the Democrats hate The Tea Party and the GOP is getting nervous means something is changing in Washington.
I don’t know that having a party split is a good thing, but if the Tea Party can continue to gain ground, the GOP will have to follow, and that my friends is change you can get behind. The rush to coddle independent voters and gain favor with the latin base does nothing but push the GOP further left, whether they want to admit it or not. Tea Party members in the congress and senate won’t crumble under pressure from the left, (unlike some current republican members whose names rhyme with Boehner and McCain).
As we have seen with the Supreme Courts decision on Obamacare, you can’t put your faith in a claimed membership to a certain party. It is the people elected under the Tea Party umbrella who will stand their ground. You can tell by all the whining from the left about radical members of congress messing up their plans to steam roll legislation through the house, something is getting under their skin.
Can The Tea Party become a stand alone party? Maybe not right now but possibly. Would it be a good thing? Absofuckinglutely!
Karl Rove says he isn’t at war with the Tea Party.
Then he blasts the Tea Party groups complaining about his new venture into Republican primary races.Former Sen. Dick Lugar (R-Ind.) is relieved the Tea Party won few victories during the 2012 election season, he said in an interview on MSNBC Wednesday
Infighting has penetrated the highest levels of the House GOP leadership. Long-standing geographic tensions have increased, pitting endangered Northeastern Republicans against their colleagues from other parts of the country. Enraged tea party leaders are threatening to knock off dozens of Republicans who supported a measure that raised taxes on the nation’s highest earners.
“It’s the same 40 to 50 chuckleheads that have screwed this place up all year,” complained retiring Rep. Steven LaTourette, R-Ohio. Boehner has “done everything to make nice to them. Bring them along. It hasn’t mattered. I don’t fault him. He’s done his best.”
