I can understand. California is the home state of me and my wife and our sons. Me and my wife were born in the late 50s and met at UCLA in the 70s. Our sons were born in in mid 80s. We left in 96 due to business for the East Coast.
Once Reagan left as governor the state started its decline. It doubled in population but the last good things done for the state were done under Reagan.
Just don’t start voting for the same laws, regulations and other BS that you are leaving, PLEASE,

I bailed out of New Jersey many years ago for the same reason, but I only made it to North Carolina. Now this state is starting to suffer from the same Liberal, up North rot, so I may have to pack up my Conestoga wagon, hitch up the team, set my heading to 180 degrees and partake in Exodus Part deux.
It bothers me she said “surprise” as if anyone that knew her would never think she’d move to a conservative state like Florida! Please don’t vote to change it blue!
When I moved from AR to WA last year the truck rental was $1600. Looking to move back recently, the truck rental from WA to AR is $8000!
