This is noise to me. Please stop using these guitars to play the most important music to the country. My veteran ears have always disliked dumbing down the anthem. The same goes for hip hoppers jiving up the anthem. Show respect to the Gods who support our country, just because you have a right to play it that way because “freedom” doesn’t mean you should.
Thanks for your service BUT no one made you listen to this version. Please do not resort to the leftist tactic of knocking something simply because you don’t ‘approve’
From a 31+ year vet who thought it was just fine (for the most part).
How can one decide if they like it or not if they don’t listen to it? Alex, perhaps, was like me in thinking at some point there might be something redeemable about it. But, alas we were at the end and there wasn’t.
gives its origins and shows the athlete that turned her back on the anthem is an idiot, but that she’s an idiot shouldnt be a suprise; that seems to be the majority of the country today
I would have loved walking back up the Bright Angel Trail, tired and dragging, and heard this wafting across the canyon. It would have been a real motivator!
I’m certain that most of us would prefer it sung by Carrie Underwood but really, not my cup of tea, but the guy was proudly playing the National Anthem. Why would anybody find that offensive?

She was all butthurt because she got beat by a couple of white girls and instead of honoring their accomplishments, she had to make it All About Her.
BTW Miss Third Place, that makeup you were wearing makes you look like an idiot.
