  1. I don’t eat meat. I also have never eaten plants made up to resemble meat. Ridiculing my choice by pointing out this marketing bullshit means you have bought into over 6 decades(or more) of the beef/dairy industries telling you that meat and only meat can supply you the necessary building blocks your body needs to be healthy.

It’s a lie, one that they spend literally billions buying off legislators(sound familiar?) to pass bullshit like the food pyramid. Go to the sites of the AMA or the AHA or the ADA for Christ’s sake and they all recommend MEAT based meals for heaven’s sake. They’re all bought off.

If you want to dump animal fats into your bloodstream year after year and expect your arteries & heart to shrug it off, knock yourself out. Every study I’ve ever read states unequivocally that a plant based diet is better for you. Within a short time after eating meat your blood vessels are flooded with animal fat that makes the walls of your arteries “sticky” and prone to accumulating plaque as well as dilating them.

IOW a plant based diet leads to a longer and healthier life.
Human beings are designed to eat plants. We have long intestines and molars meant to grind nutrients out of plants. Check out a movie called Game Changer. World class athletes including the world’s strongest man are vegans.

On the meantime, take a PLAC and get back to me.

    1. MMin – Settle down there kiddo, eat whatever you want to eat, I’ll do the same.

I do find it odd they are trying to make a burger out of plants but whatever….I saw that “dog food” image and found it amusing considering Burger King has been on the left side of just about everything, (remember the LGTB packaging), so I take a shot at the corporate leftist when the opportunity arises.

I drink, smoke, and eat meat, I could drop over dead at anytime but after 59 years on this rock I feel pretty damn good….I don’t care what you do and hope you live to a ripe old age, I’ll take my chances with my diet and vices and if it kills me so be it.

      1. Do whatever you like as you know as well as me that I’m not going to convince you of anything, I’m simply pointing out that if you want to live a longer and healthier life, avoiding meat, especially feed lot beef, OMLord, is a good first step.

        59 is still pretty young…sonny.

Really, check out Game Changer if you get a moment to sit, it’s streaming now on Netflix.

Merry Christmas too, love your sense of humor.

  2. BTW I enjoy 1/2 & 1/2 in my coffee and parmesan in my pesto so my diet is not strictly vegan. Diets high in diary/animal fat are linked to a much higher incidence of prostate cancer. My PSA is under 2 and I’m 68, what’s yours?

I also don’t tell everyone in the first 5 minutes after meeting them that I don’t eat meat.
