I am strongly nationalistic as an American, yet my first allegiance must be to God. My allegiance to country is not weakened at all by virtue of coming in a distant third, after God and family. Thus, what you are really saying here is that you believe Americans must be secular.
God has well and truly blessed America, yet God’s choice of location on Earth is the Holy Land of Israel. Recognizing this simple fact does not change the allegiance of religious Americans to our homeland America one bit.
Further, y’all really ought to do some more research on Teddy Roosevelt. Although he was not one of our worst Presidents, he leaned sharply left on certain issues, and the power of the federal government was vastly increased during his watch.
