Had a power surge at the homestead, fried garage door logic board and power supply to my home computer. Just replaced the power supply, back to posting tomorrow. Please except the gif below as an apology for the delays.

What, no surge protector?
Toejam – Nope, no surge protector. Haven’t used them for years with no issues, our power around here is very stable, just a freak thing I guess.
I learned my lesson a few years back when hit with a “surge”. I invested about $15 for a 6 port protector after replacing a few “fried” electronics. The power company is supposed to have built in network surge protector technology but you can’t depend on them
