Who has given us freedom to protest.

Who has given us the right to a fair trial.

Who has given us the right to vote.
It is the Soldier who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag,
Who allows the protester to burn the flag.

A wonderful masterpiece of logical composition. Sadly, it will not be seen as such by a huge number of metrosexual, “coexist” Americans. The greatest generation failed in its final assignment. It went through the 1929 depression and WW-II magnificently, but, having suffered so much it treated its offspring with a passionate fervor so that they might not have to endure the horrors heaped upon them. Finally several generations later that “Cultural kindness” has transformed many millennials into snowflakes. Who would have foreseen the metamorphous in 1945?
