My condolences, Jeffi. In my 73+ year life I’ve had the sad experience of saying good-bye to pets too many times to want to remember. It’s painful. Hang in there, Pal!
Jeff, so very sorry, I somewhat get how you’re feeling. For most of us we like our dogs more than about 99.9% of the people we know. I still miss my little Westie I had put to sleep four years ago. The older you get the more sentimental you get. May God help give you peace during this tough time.
Sorry for your loss, it’s difficult to say good-bye to devoted companion. The best thing about dogs is that they always give 100% effort, no matter what. Which is more than can be said of most people.

Very sorry for your loss…. 🙁
Bruddah, I feel your pain. I’ve had to put my favorite mutt to sleep in the past.
I know it might seem churlish, but getting another dog helps. One dog never replaces the other, but having that companionship is a comfort.
Sorry for your loss. Beagles wiggle their way deep into your heart with their happy personalities, and it hurts to lose them.
I am so sorry. 🙁
Damn. Sorry to hear that. We just had to put our 7 yr old Irish Setter down last Feb. because of lymphoma. That shit hurts.
