My wife is Irish (Republic of Ireland) and boy she really gets pissed off at the huge number of Americans who believe The Irish Republic is part of the United Kingdom!
That is, if Alaska becomes “the northern peninsula of Texas” (cf. current day Michigan), and the Hawaiian islands become a part of California, like the islands of Alcatraz, Catalina, et cetera.
And really, the Europe map should have labeled the Scandinavian countries as “Vikings.”
