The Roy Moore Conundrum

The Roy Moore Conundrum

If what I’m seeing is true, the allegations against Moore are false, but the GOPe and Democrats are pressing forward with demands he step aside. If his detractors are successful in getting him out of the race or senate if elected, and it comes to light that he was innocent…SUE!

Take legal action against McConnell, Gloria Allred, the accusers, and anyone else who was involved in the smear campaign.

If he’s guilty he can take the walk of shame but it sure is looking like the claims against him are lies.

She said that she never saw Moore after the alleged attempted sexual assault. But it turns out that wasn’t true. He was the judge in her divorce (in 1999). Would you allow someone who tried to rape you to be your judge in the divorce case? And he was never the D.A., so he wouldn’t have signed her yearbook with D.A. after his name. But when he was the judge, his assistant put his initials, D.A., after Moore’s stamped name to indicate he, the assistant, was doing the stamping. And she would have seen that on the divorce order and may have thought that was how Moore signed his name. And check the signature on the right in the CNN tweet above, it appears to be different color ink. That may be lighting, but it’s just showing on the ‘Moore’ and what’s under that, making it look like it could have been added later. Additionally, who writes 1977 twice in different handwriting? Teach A Man To Fish….

Teach A Man To Fish….

What distinguishes slave labor from free labor? Under slave labor the boss wholly determines the compensation of the worker. If he wishes to merely grant him or her enough to survive (in order to protect his own investment) he can. If he wishes to be extremely generous and to indulge them (which some slave masters did, especially for their favorite slaves) he can. Slave labor is therefore not defined by a laborer merely receiving a subsistence, it is defined by being entirely at the mercy of the master, regardless of what you receive. If you are taken care of handsomely but you have no say in the matter, you remain nothing more than a slave.

a worker is not the slave of the person who employs them if their labor  must correspond to some determinate value that is decided by outside forces rather than the whim of the employer. In a free society value is determined by the objective realities of the market. Who possesses more dignity? a very well kept slave or a free worker making a subsistence? For those with no regard for liberty, or who define liberty as comfort, it is the slave.  For the believer in liberty it is the worker.  The worker has a future, and one that he can himself determine by his own decisions. The slave does not.

If the state determines prices and wages it becomes the slave master; with the potential to be as cruel a master as any, as history shows us.   here…

Lunatic Fringe

Lunatic Fringe

The left has chosen groups it wants to exploit to create division in this country, they want votes and by backing the lunatic fringe they secure their support when election time comes around. The identity politics game they are playing is having a major side effect, people in this country are no longer “Americans”, they are splinter groups demanding new rights and laws.

Pick a group, any group that liberals support, and you will find a hatred for what America used to be and their vision of what America should be. It’s not their wish, it’s a demand, and liberal politicians are enabling those demands for their own selfish reason…… political power. It’s creating a divide that can’t be repaired.

That’s not the vibe of today. It feels like America is a fleet of ships lashed together for so long that no one remembers why they are lashed together. As the ropes begin to break, no one is trying to repair them. Instead. people are severing them so everyone can drift apart and go their own way. In the process, various madmen are setting fire to other boats and cackling like lunatics. Those who want to keep things together, just because that’s the way it has always been, are starting to think it is time to cut everyone loose.   here….

This won’t end well.
