Brain Freeze

Brain Freeze

I had a brain freeze and couldn’t complete the sentence  “America is the most…..” with the word I wanted.

“Generous” was the word I was looking for but “charitable” kept sticking in my head,  so I typed in the Google machine “America is the most….”

Below are the search options given, not quite what I was looking for.

The Divide Is Almost Complete

The Divide Is Almost Complete

Race in America has always been an issue and dealing with it has never had any easy answers. It’s human nature to live in groups that are all alike, call it tribal or whatever you want but it’s natural. An individuals personal thoughts on race are seen through different prisms depending upon life experiences. Tribe A, B, C, and D, all see race as a different thing dependent on how it has effected them personally. Good, bad, or indifferent, their judgments should be derived from personal experience….period.

Unfortunately because different races have been given preferred minority status they have also been given preferred grievance platforms. Government stepped in and mandated the varying tribes get along or else. It’s no longer the individuals opinion that matters, it’s what the individual has been told to believe that matters. That’s a huge deal.

Colin Kaeprnick was born in Wisconsin, his African-American father ran out on his white mother before Colin was born. Kaepernick was put up for adoption and was adopted by a white couple with two children of their own. His life was changed from an illegitimate mixed race child with a bleak future to a life of opportunity.

Fast forward to Kaepernicks 2016 decision to kneel during the national anthem. He said that he was doing it because of oppression of his people. Who are his people? He has a college degree and making millions playing for the NFL because a white family adopted him, put him through school, was given a scholarship by a white college coach, drafted in the NFL by a white team owner and white head coach. Who are his people again?

The rest of the story is well documented but how did we get here? Was it Trumps non scripted statement? Trump said nothing about race, nothing about the NFL itself, he opined that it would be great if an owner stood up and fired the “sons a bitches” kneeling during the anthem, he was talking about a few individuals, not league wide. But see that doesn’t matter, the race industry has it’s opportunity, Trump haters smell blood and liberals are following the Alinsky play book, divide the country by race.

Go back to the government dictating individual thought on race. Trump is now a racist because that’s what’s been mandated. Race became a cottage industry, then became big business, now thousands of groups make their living off preferred minority status. That’s how we got here. Kaepernick is a product of the race industry, he’s a useful idiot that’s been told to believe he and his “people” are oppressed, it’s not because of his personal experience, it’s what’s been mandated.

The division of America is almost complete, not because of Trump, not because white people are racist, it’s due to the race industry, the Black Caucus, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Barack Obama, Black Panthers, the Democratic Party, and every other group that has something to gain whether that be money or votes.

That’s how we got here and it’s not going to end well.

We Are On Our Own

We Are On Our Own

I’m still pissed off about the NFL players, coaches, and owners going all in against POTUS and the flag and all that it represents to us, the dirt people. The league and owners are betting that playing political football won’t hurt them, and they may very well be correct.

The “Monday Night Football” matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals made for the strongest ratings for a “MNF” game this season. Ratings for the game rose 63% above the week three game from 2016, according to ESPN

Average Americans have been handed down disappointment after disappointment and we have no choice but to keep living our lives as best we can, we fought the good fight and gave our side all three branches of government, how’s that worked out?

All of the consternation from people who are disjointed about the NFL fiasco will be handed down another disappointment, people will continue to watch and the league will go on as usual and average America will go back to getting by as best they can. People will fight the good fight and do what they can to show their disapproval of the NFL but the chances that players will be forced to stand is slim to none.torch-merch-Robert

Like big government, professional sports is a swamp and the sports media complex makes their money skimming the slime. ESPN, FOX Sports, and the alphabet network pre-game shows all supported the players. They twisted what Trump said into an attack on all of the black players when in truth he was speaking of the few Kaepernick knuckleheads. This is how it works, if a conservative says something against the lefty narrative they are convicted in the court of public opinion as racist, it happens like clockwork.download (2)

The players chose their national stage to turn their collective backs on the flag and what it represents, the media turned them into victims of racism, that ploy comes right out of the liberal play book. The players act as they have been verbally assaulted, the league backs the victims and the billionaire owners fall in line because they lacked the courage to put their foot down when it was just one, now it’s out of control.screen-shot-2017-09-25-at-5-32-44-pm

To the millions of Americans who are as pissed off as I am, I hope at least ONE player or owner will show some backbone and speak up for the fans and the flag but I’m not holding my breath. It’s just another kick to the gut of average Americans who want so much to feel like somebody cares.

We are on our own, get used to it.

UPDATE: Apparently this is not in the rule book, I’ll leave it up for someone to confirm who may know better than myself. It was a late night post and I was still pissed off about the days events, I took a shot and was wrong, sorry for the confusion.

The entire Pittsburgh Steelers team remained in the locker room during the national anthem, with the exception of one player: Army veteran Alejandro Villanueva, who plays offensive tackle for the Steelers.

While the rest of his teammates remained in the locker room, Villanueva stood in the tunnel holding his helmet in his left hand and holding his right hand over his heart as the anthem played.    here…

Any questions??

Playing By The Rules Didn’t Work

Playing By The Rules Didn’t Work

Over the transom:

My Leftist friends (as well as many ardent #NeverTrumpers) constantly ask me if I’m not bothered by Donald Trump’s lack of decorum. They ask if I don’t think his tweets are “beneath the dignity of the office.”

Here’s my answer:

We Right-thinking people have tried dignity.  There could not have been a man of more quiet dignity than George W. Bush as he suffered the outrageous lies and politically motivated hatreds that undermined his presidency.

We tried statesmanship. Could there be another human being on this earth who so desperately prized “collegiality” as John McCain?

We tried propriety – has there been a nicer human being ever than Mitt Romney?

And the results were always the same. This is because, while we were playing by the rules of dignity, collegiality and propriety, the Left has been, for the past 60 years, engaged in a knife fight where the only rules are those of Saul Alinsky and the Chicago mob.

tumblr_owmfvewoW61vnq1cro1_540My husband dropped his wallet (with hundreds of dollars and all his credit cards) in our drive way and this gentleman picked it up and left it at our doorstep after waiting for a few minutes, because I wouldn’t open the door (for strangers). I later found him. Thanked and rewarded him for his kind gesture. It’s sad that I didn’t trust him to open my door when he was just doing a good deed. Sadly, this is the world we live in today. We hear so much terrible news and barely any good. I think we all need to be reminded that there are still good people out there. His act of kindness cannot go unrecognized. Thank you Tyler.
