Santorum To Eliminate Internet Porn

Santorum To Eliminate Internet Porn

Oh no you don’t!  Leave my ladies alone!

Internet pornography could conceivably become a thing of the past if Rick Santorum is elected president.

The unapologetic social conservative, currently in second place behind Mitt Romney for the GOP nomination, has promised to crack down on the distribution of pornography if elected.

Santorum says in a statement posted to his website, “The Obama Administration has turned a blind eye to those who wish to preserve our culture from the scourge of pornography and has refused to enforce obscenity laws.”

If elected, he promises to “vigorously” enforce laws that “prohibit distribution of hardcore (obscene) pornography on the Internet, on cable/satellite TV, on hotel/motel TV, in retail shops and through the mail or by common carrier.”

Karzai Wants Americans Out!

Karzai Wants Americans Out!

I say appease the man. An enemy that can’t be fought from the borders of a base, that just makes you a target. The US should give him the gift that keeps on giving, PULL OUT NOW, not 2013 or 2014. RIGHT NOW.

Then he can take the millions that his corrupt regime stole from the US and make his own deals with the Taliban, Al Qaeda, and Pakistan. Then he can try to stop the inevitable coup that is coming his way.

He looks pretty cozy with Americans guarding him.

Karzai told visiting US defence chief Leon Panetta that “Afghanistan is ready to take overall security responsibility”, a statement from his office said.

“Our demand is that this process should be executed sharply and the responsibility should be handed over to to Afghans.”

US Troops Forced To Leave Weapons At The Door

US Troops Forced To Leave Weapons At The Door

Later, American officials said that the top military official in Helmand, Maj. Gen. Mark Gurganus, had decided on Tuesday that no one would be armed while Mr. Panetta spoke, but that word had not reached those in charge in the tent until shortly before Mr. Panetta was due to arrive.

General Gurganus told reporters later that he had wanted a consistent policy for everyone in the tent, and that “I wanted to have the Marines look just like their Afghan partners,” noting, “You’ve got one of the most important people in the world in the room.” He insisted that his decision had nothing to do with the massacre; later, defense officials said the decision had nothing to do with the truck at the airfield.

General Gurganus may be a good man, maybe even a great man, but we are who we are, the most bad ass fighting force in the world. And you have your General telling you to stand down… in front of the people they are trying to train? Do you think the enemy would do that?

I have never been in the military and I can’t relate to protocol for this type of event, but it sure seems like someone is pacifying a certain group of people. Correct me if I am wrong, I don’t get it.

Chris Matthews Call His Own Religion A Cult

Chris Matthews Call His Own Religion A Cult

Chris Matthews is  Roman Catholic.

Maybe it’s just me, but I was taught to respect my elders, women, and my religion. Apparently Mr. Matthews was not raised that way. I sure wouldn’t screw with karma like that, no matter what religion you are. Read his quote below pic.

“They have three, or two RCs — Roman Catholics running and a Mormon so the three cultists running. I have to pick one of the three cultists as they see them. This isn’t as funny as I’m making it, but it’s ridiculous to pick a guy they really think is the other, the heretic, the Muslim, what a strangest of religious prejudice is at work here, they pick the guy they don’t like to pick a guy they hate worse,” he finished.

Damn Shame…Troops Told To Disarm

Damn Shame…Troops Told To Disarm

I don’t know who got nervous, but I would say it is pretty telling when the Secretary of Defense does not trust 200 of his own troops, makes them disarm before he speaks to them.

Like I said, it may be time to get out now before someone else in the Obama Administration embarrasses us to the world. Again.

Update: You would think he would want our boys locked and loaded for just this kind of scenario.

In a sign of the nervousness surrounding Mr. Panetta’s trip, the Marines and other troops who were waiting in a tent for the defense secretary to speak were abruptly asked by their commander to get up, place their weapons — M-16 and M-4 automatic rifles and 9-mm pistols — outside the tent and then return unarmed. The commander, Sgt. Maj. Brandon Hall, told reporters he was acting on orders from superiors.

“All I know is, I was told to get the weapons out,” he said. Asked why, he replied, “Somebody got itchy, that’s all I’ve got to say. Somebody got itchy; we just adjust.”

Normally, American forces in Afghanistan keep their weapons with them when the defense secretary visits and speaks to them. The Afghans in the tent waiting for Mr. Panetta were not armed to begin with, as is typical.

The Great American Tragedy

The Great American Tragedy

New migration tendencies in California:

The state’s progressive tax-and-spend experiment is broken, threatening basic services, from courts and parks to education and health care for its most vulnerable citizens. Mr. Brown’s tax initiative only exposes the state to an ever more dangerous roller-coaster ride.

No wonder many Silicon Valley CEOs say they won’t expand in California because of high taxes and burdensome regulation. And no wonder net migration has recently reversed, with hundreds of thousands of workers and their families leaving the state in search of better opportunities.

California’s economy, which used to outperform the rest of the country, now substantially underperforms. The unemployment rate, at 10.9%, is higher than every other state except Nevada and Rhode Island. With 12% of America’s population, California has one third of the nation’s welfare recipients.

Partly due to generous union wages and benefits, inflexible work rules and lobbying for more spending, many state programs and institutions spend too much and achieve too little. For example, annual spending on each California prison inmate is equal to an entire middle-income family’s after-tax income. Many of California’s K-12 public schools rank poorly on standardized tests. The unfunded pension and retiree health-care liabilities of workers in the state-run Calpers system, which includes teachers and university personnel, totals around $250 billion.

Many Americans fear the federal fiscal train wreck will turn us into Greece. But, barring major change, they need look no further than California to see what this future portends. Relying on ever-higher taxes to fund payments to an outsized population of benefit recipients is a recipe for exporting prosperity. That is one California trend that other states emulate at their peril.

What Did You Do With Your 40 Bucks?

What Did You Do With Your 40 Bucks?

Remember the Payroll Tax Cut that Obama said would save every hard-working Amercian an extra $40.00 per week?

Remember how Obama said that Republicans did not care about the middle class because they were against the unemployment extension tied to the tax plan?

What did you spend your  $40.00 on this week?

WASHINGTON — A new estimate from congressional economists says the government will run a $1.2 trillion deficit for the budget year ending just a few weeks before Election Day. It would be the fourth straight year of trillion dollar-plus deficits.

The almost $100 billion spike from earlier projections for the fiscal 2012 deficit comes almost exclusively because Congress passed legislation recommended by President Barack Obama to renew a 2 percentage point cut in payroll taxes and jobless benefits for people languishing on unemployment rolls for more than six months.

We are so boned!
