I actually like Dr. Birx demeanor at the briefings, Dr. Fauci not so much. That being said both of them have relationships with democrats that makes me leery of projections and advice they are giving POTUS…..just saying.

I know I’m going to get a lot of flak for posting this from the “how can you attack the good doctors, you don’t know shit” crowd but I think people can see for themselves things seem a bit sketchy as far as predictions and recommendations to keeping the country on lock down.

Dr. Deborah Birx comes across as the calming voice of reason while encouraging Americans to default on their life savings.  She encourages Americans to stay at home and away from the coronavirus that is killing 80 year olds with pre-existing medical conditions.  The fact that fatalities from the virus are almost non-existent in the working class has no bearing on Dr. Birx’s recommendations.

In spite of the fact that the death rates from the coronavirus to date are a fraction of the numbers from this year’s flu season, Dr. Birx suggests we all stay home and shut down the economy together.

Dr. Birx previously said all of the flu models predicted somewhere between 1.6 and 2.2 million deaths if the government did not mitigate. But we all know that these are large and excessive numbers difficult to validate.  Dr Birx said some models predicted half of the United States would be infected.

Both Dr. Birx and her counterpart on the coronavirus task team, Dr. Fauci have strong connections to the Democrat Deep State.  As reported previously, Dr. Fauci wrote an email to Hillary Clinton after her questioning before Congress in 2013.

The “expert” who sewed panic and shut down a nation due to an astronomically flawed model is now saying his estimated death numbers were wrong …no shit Sherlock.

These are the questions some of us have already been asking, but our voices were silenced because of the Imperial College of London’s study that said this would kill 2.2 million people in the U.S. and 500,000 in the U.K. Now, the author of that study himself has essentially recanted his projection, whether he admits it or not.

Yesterday, Neil Ferguson of Imperial College London told the U.K.’s parliamentary select committee on science and technology that he is now “reasonably confident” there will not be an ICU shortage in London and that the fatalities will not exceed 20,000 in the U.K. He predicts that two-thirds of those would have died by the end of the year due to other conditions anyway. And rather than this lasting 18 months, as he projected in his first paper, which widely drove policies in the U.K. and U.S., Ferguson now predicts the virus will peak in “two or three weeks.”  Here…

 

 

At the risk of sounding cruel, or perhaps even tempting fate by G-d forbid catching the Yellow Plague myself, it’s now time to face facts: Chinese Coronavirus COVID-19, while certainly dangerous or even lethal to some, is no reason to shut down our society. If we are going to quarantine anyone, it should be the elderly and those whose compromised health puts them at greater risk to both catch and spread the contagion. Besides that, I think President Trump should lift the state of emergency definitely by Easter and really by April 5th.

The “evidence” and reasoning that has us in a state of siege and limbo is now provably flawed. If we continue to do things based on its premise we will do damage to the nation by orders of magnitude greater than whatever the highest death toll and hospitalization will be.

Liberals wet dream of more government proves once again it creates useless departments, agencies, and regulations that, in a normal situation, are a big pain in the ass. This particular case, it probably cost lives and ruined the economy by delaying data for officials to decide whether or not to SHUT DOWN THE FUCKING COUNTRY!!!!!
