It’s Obama’s War, No One Else To Blame

It’s Obama’s War, No One Else To Blame

Obama arrogantly stated he was “elected to stop wars, not start them”. That small ball statement along with his smug debate remark about Romneys “80’s” foreign policy and you can see how immature and unprepeared this man was for the office he holds. Now that he has painted himself into this corner…he has no one to blame but himself.

Obama has been running away from Al Qaeda and now it has caught him. He imagines that he can escape with a few air strikes, a few speeches and a pivot to something else, but it won’t be that simple. This is a war that cannot be escaped or avoided, speechified or shrugged off.

Obama chose appeasement. He chose denial. He chose the Arab Spring. He chose the golf course. He chose to ignore the problem.

Now he has a war on his hands. keep reading

The Motive

The Motive

Evil – Nothing more, nothing less.

When a murder happens we trace back the motives of the killer. Was he abused as a child, did the authorities fail to act in time, what made a once sweet boy turn into a killer? To do the same for September 11 is to travel back over a thousand years and still come away with few answers except that sometimes human evil can be congealed into an ideology and passed along from generation to generation like a virus of hatred and cruelty. keep reading

The best way to pay tribute to the dead is to unlearn our mistakes so that what happened to them will not happen again. Everything else is the fragmentation of self-indulgence, the therapy of tears, the sensitivity of grief, that will ease our pain, but not our fate.

A Stark Example….

A Stark Example….

….of Obama leading from behind.

CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: This is a man who’s been dragged kicking and screaming to face reality. When ISIS came into western Iraq, and took Fallujah, Obama hardly stirred and around that time is when he was calling them the JV team. Then ISIL seizes Mosul, he begins to stir, but it was not until he got a phone call from the leaders of Kurdistan to say Erbil, the capital, was within range of ISIS and it could fall in a few days, and there were a lot of Americans in Kurdistan, and that’s when Obama began to order air strikes.
And it took until we had the brutal murder, the contemptible murder of the Americans, a sort of throwing down the gauntlet, two Americans with their throats slit, where American public opinion, as you can see in the polls, radically changed from being against air strikes to being heavily in favor that Obama decided to do air strikes. This is a classic example of leading from behind.
Where he waits for public opinion and now it’s the public who is demanding he does something. Americans don’t like to see other Americans killed on television by a prideful enemy like that and our president doing nothing. So I don’t think there’s been a lot of layering here, this is all ad hoc, and he’s running so he can catch up with the crowd.

BRET BAIER: You’re saying barring seeing those videos, his policy would be different?

KRAUTHAMMER: Absolutely. It changed everything, it changed public opinion. And Obama is nothing if not responsive to public opinion. He doesn’t lead here, it’s the public that’s leading.

Tribal Obligations

Tribal Obligations

America has been weakened by being divided. Divided nations are too busy fighting among themselves to put up a strong defense. The world is going to hell because everyone from Putin to ISIS is confident that Americans are too busy fighting over Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown, over gay marriage and illegal alien amnesty, to pay much attention to them.

Obama’s tribal politics are dedicated to squelching the open equality of freedom and turning every aspect of life into a subsidized commodity to be dispensed by a central authority on a tribal basis.

That is not America. That is Egypt. That is Saudi Arabia. That is Iraq.

The Steady Decay

The Steady Decay

“In ten years’ time, there will be no American Dream, any more than there’s a Greek or Portuguese Dream. In twenty, you’ll be living the American Nightmare, with large tracts of the country reduced to the favelas of Latin America, the rich fleeing for Bermuda or New Zealand or wherever on the planet they can buy a little time, and the rest trapped in the impoverished, violent, diseased ruins of utopian vanity.”

—  Mark Steyn

The Three Steps

The Three Steps

There’s a pattern here if you look closely. This is a tried and true geopolitical strategy.

Step 1: Build up a dictator or extremist group which can then be used to wage proxy wars against opponents. During this stage any crimes committed by these proxies are swept under the rug. [Problem]

Step 2: When these nasty characters have outlived their usefulness, that’s when it’s time to pull out all that dirt from under the rug and start publicizing it 24/7. This obviously works best when the public has no idea how these bad guys came to power.[Reaction]

Step 3: Finally, when the public practically begging for the government to do something, a solution is proposed. Usually the solution involves military intervention, the loss of certain liberties, or both. [Solution]

The Ruling Elites Wasted War On Poverty

The Ruling Elites Wasted War On Poverty

Poor people are poor for three reasons. One is they are on the left side of the bell curve, in general. There are plenty of exceptions, but not being very bright is a hard thing to overcome and it always has been. Unless you plan to euthanize the stupid, the poor will always be with us.

Second, poor people make poor decisions. They are impulsive and want what they want when they want it. A poor person comes into money and buys a car, new clothes and drinks at the bar. Mr. Edsall comes into money and he calls his broker. Delayed gratification is punishment in the ghetto. In SWPL-ville, it is a virtue and one of the highest ones. You can never fix this, but you can mitigate it by not promoting ghetto parasites like the hip-hop community and much of Hollywood. Shame still works on poor people.

Finally, a lot of people like being working class. This is something the Hive never understands nor tolerates. They hate poor people and they really hate working class people. The poor are a constant reminder of their failure to reach Utopia. The working class are a rebuke to the Hive. These are people who could embrace the culture of the hive, but choose not too. They could watch the English Premier League, but prefer the NFL and NASCAR. That’s why the Left hates them. keep reading
