Calmer Heads

Calmer Heads

Like a lot of you I was pissed as hell when Trump signed that GOPe/Democrat bloated pork filled spending bill. My knee jerk reaction was Trump got played, but calmer heads may still prevail. This from Kurt Schlichter made sense and it’s worth a read. I’m still pissed but I understand a bit more of the “why”.

It’s absolutely understandable – in fact, it’s inevitable – that Trump supporters are going to be ticked off. We’ve been lied to and betrayed for decades, and anything that even hints at a continuation of that pattern spins us up to Rage Level 11. But the fact is that this was a screw-up that led to him being faced with two bad choices, and we need to see clearly what happened. We weren’t “betrayed.” It’s not “over.” And “Trump has totally lost my support” is exactly what your enemies want you to say.

Don’t say what your enemies want you to say.    keep reading….

Sunday Ramblings

Sunday Ramblings

The more I think about the Omnibus Spending bill the more I realize the #nevertrumpers plan to defeat Trump. They can’t get him ousted by a special counsel or a congressional intelligence committee, they don’t have the votes for impeachment and the Justice Departments/FBI double secret backup plan backfired bigly. So what can be done? Think about the furious reaction to Trump signing the spending bill, establishment politicians just bluffed Trump into demoralizing and splitting his base, some will be Trump supporters regardless of this mistake, other Trump supporters just jumped off the train.

How do you rid yourself of Trump…..destroy his base. Well played swamp rats, well played.

Once again progressives have trotted out a bunch of high school kids under the premise of national outrage about guns. Limp wrist lefty protege David Hogg and his teenage contemporary self proclaimed Latin lesbian Emma Gonzalez are relishing their fifteen minutes of fame and the left is doing everything they can to keep them in the spotlight. I don’t blame the snot nosed kids for basking in the bright lights, children are easily manipulated because they have no life lessons to fall back on, the fault lies with lefty non-profits and their media propaganda wing taking advantage of small minds.tumblr_inline_p64ff5sVRw1qjdi53_500

The kids out in front of this fiasco need a good ass whoopin’ that obviously their parents neglected to do, the non-profits organizing the “march” need their tax free status revoked. Two can play at this game.

Celebrities are jumping on the Parkland bandwagon. The last I saw Hollywood has it’s own problems regarding some sexual shenanigans yet they still choose to stick their altered noses into anything liberal. Let’s do this, the moment Hollywood removes guns from all of their films, then they can take a side, until that time happens…..STFU, you have no right being anti-gun when you’re in a movie shooting guns.

The student journalists said they requested an interview with Mr. Clooney and his wife Amal, who donated $500,000 in support of the march, but the Clooneys declined, sending them a letter instead

“Amal and I stand behind you, in support of you, in gratitude to you,” he added. “You make me proud of my country again.”

“Let Them Eat Cake”

“Let Them Eat Cake”

A quote attributed to Marie Antoinette, who allegedly spoke it in regard to her peasants having no bread to eat. Regardless of whether that actually happened, it is still the snobbiest way of saying “fuck them and what they want.”
Marie Antoinette: “Let them eat cake.”

Snooty French Guy: “They don’t have cake either.”

Marie Antoinette: “Did I fucking stutter?”

What an absolute, unmitigated, disaster. Actually, it’s worse than that; it is an intentional boot in the groin to the American people who not only voted for the President but who have been voting for a political party to stop this since at least the 2010 election. Louisiana Senator Kennedy is dead right when he says that this bill is Congress urinating on the leg of the American people. And that is being extremely mild about it. It looks as if the President is going to sign this and then that will be that. There are those MAGA stalwarts who look on this bill as a betrayal of the President. Well, it is. But if he signs the bill then can these people be intellectually honest and still say the same thing? Ronald Reagan on several occasions told Congress to pound sand when they pulled stunts like this and whipped out his veto pen. And he didn’t have control of both houses of Congress either. Sure, even if the President did veto this bill, McTraitor and Ryno would still whip the votes to override him. But it’s the principle of the thing – the very reason that PDT ran in the first place which is to drain the swamp and secure the border with the wall. Signing this bill may very well signal the moment he pisses away his presidency. Well, at least Hillary Clinton will never be President of the United States of America. And, by the way, GO TO HELL, GOP.          Keep Reading…..

Being Offended Is Not A Bad Thing

Being Offended Is Not A Bad Thing

“The whole idea of ‘hate speech’ needs to be removed from our legal system immediately. Aside from the numerous problems involved with deciding what is and what isn’t ‘hate speech’ (and who gets to define what it is), allowing the most timorous snowflakes to set the boundaries is a surefire recipe for tyranny. And besides all that, the expectation that you somehow have a right not to be offended is ludicrous. Being offended is good. Being offended is healthy. Being offended leads to self-examination. That’s how discourse progresses. Anything new is bound to offend at least one person. If nobody is offended, then nobody is thinking.”

Golden Parachute

Golden Parachute

Andrew McCabe or Andy, (as his text pals call him), graduated from college in 1993. He spent three years in a private practice firm before joining the FBI so he was basically in the work force out of college for 23 years, 20 with the FBI, it’s rumored he’s worth 11 million. His wife is a pediatrician and makes a butt load of money, between the two incomes plus investments they have no worries, Andy will be fine regardless of losing a pension.

I don’t have an issue with Andy boy’s money, I’m just wondering how you make almost $60,000 per year in pension , (plus benefits) , after twenty years work? That’s a pretty sweet gig. With politicians spouting off about how they need to raise the retirement age to 75 to save social security it must be nice to bail out at 50 like McCabe.

I’m 38 years in the work force and counting, that doesn’t include the part time jobs I worked as a teen and in high school, if I work to 70 I will have been working for fifty years.

So before he was fired Andy McCabe had the option to retire at 50 after 20 and I retire at 70 after 50, seems one might say……assbackwards.

I don’t disparage McCabes ability to retire early, I’m quite envious, I am pissed that Andy and his fellow government employees get that opportunity while the private sector is expected to work a few decades longer to pay for it.

Careful What You Wish For

Careful What You Wish For

Democrats, who are all over Twitter at the moment defending McCabe, are making a huge mistake. They will be embarrassed when the details come out. The Office of Professional Responsibility is not a partisan adjunct of the Republican Party or anything close. Furthermore, it was the Democratic Party that called for the inspector general to investigate. He was appointed by Obama. As the old saying goes, be careful what you wish for.   Keep reading……
